“First order was good fast delivery etc, second order received a confirmation email with delivery date for the following day, however didn't receive anything i had to call on the Saturday to ask ( they said i didn't make any orders then I had to send my bank statement eventually they fund it, not an apology or anything delayed my job for 3 days and was paid less because of it! Shame I always used them now don't think so.”

“Ordered from Factory Direct Flooring as they had whatI wanted in a 2m width. Ordered and given a delivery date. Received an e-mail saying that delivery delayed by 24 to 48 hours. Telephoned helpline on 2nd day of delay asking when I could expect delivery. Very helpful response saying he would find out and phone back. Received e-mail saying my order out of stock but suggesting substitute. Phoned to accept this but delivery was anotherr delay which I couldn't risk so cancelled for refund. Refund was very quick, Probably a good company to order from if I hadn't had time constraints.”

“The flooring came in a absolute huge piece ..maybe 10 foot or longer ...which was too long for the van so on my day of order it didnt arrive because of the van size...the next day I ordered it for it still didnt arrive but it came a day early which I wasn't in to receive it so Concerige receives it. Some communications if the client wants the carpet in its long size or if it can be folded in a different way would have been appreciated as I live in a 14th floor flat so on receiving it we had to unpack the item and refold /roll it so it was smaller to take into the elevator”

“Have been waiting for notice of return collection . E-mails sent on their website. Nothing ... in fact it was the company that told me I would need more floor . Now this extra I needed needs returning.”

“I went for a thin vinyl. You get what you pay for rips easily and already needs replacing . I collected product and staff were very courteous.”

“Delivery was the issue. Set a date as per website. Took the day off work. Waited in all day 8am to 6pm as advised and no floor appeared. Even contacted after sales the day prior, who advised flooring delivery was on track for my required day. Contacting after sales is a joke as you can only email even though it says you can phone on the invoice?? The responses stopped when I eventually received my flooring 2 days later. Complained via email and still awaiting response. No offer to compensate or refund delivery fee. Ruined the experience as the floor is now down and looks lovely.”

“Had an issue with the flooring delivered. Got 32 packs and of those 8 packs were clearly different. I had 2 independent reviews of the flooring and they both stated the 8 packs must have been wrongly labelled. I sent photos and was advised to take all the boards out and mix them up. They didn’t want to know. I am so disappointed in the company. Do i recommend them in this instance no.”

Thanks for your review. “The ordering and samples sent were good! We arranged a delivery for Monday 17th of July, which i arranged to take time off work to recieve. instead it was delivered on Wednesday 12th with no one there, i had left a mobile contact number but recieved no call. The plastic cover had rips in but fortunately no damage to vinyl carpet and no rain that or the following day as left outside! Layed on the Monday 17th but missing Vinyl and Cushion Floor Anti Plas 15mtr Double Sided Tape but i had to lay it that day! Now i have this questionaire with one of the questions being who made the delivery? This i cannot answer”

“Prompt delivery and good value... but many of the planks came with a stain on all of them in the same spot, looked like a production issue. I had booked someone to fit it, so just had to lay the floor with the stains :(”

“We ordered over 2000m2 of the Prestige Iris Oak herringbone flooring to be installed at three different developments. Unfortunately after 6 months after installation we encountered numerous problems. After a few emails back and forth with Factory Direct Flooring, we requested a site visit from a sales representative, but unfortunately their wording and information they required seemed to by directed for a specialist flooring contractors are required to lay this particular 8mm herringbone flooring. Certainly I was impressed with their after sales and their absolutely ridiculous criteria to lay this flooring.”

“the laminate quality was poor (the top couple of laminates looked great but in some boxes at least half of them were poor quality) - I guess it is not their fault but their discounted price is for a low quality product !!”

“In the end I didn't get vinyl from Factory Direct. I placed the order, paid and arranged a delivery date. Shortly before it was due to be delivered, I received a call to say it was out of stock and discontinued. To be fair, repayment was quick, but overall I was disappointed.”

“For quite expensive flooring I wasn’t impressed at all to be honest, I have fit laminate before and this was quite poor quality, the grooves just wasn’t deep to click together with. In general it doesn’t look all bad but the laminate I replaced it with was such better thicker quality! And one of the packages arrived damaged! Luckily I just had enough to finish the job. I wouldn’t not buy from here again.”
