“Ordered some vinyl roll to replace a small bathroom floor, found it very affordable and easy to fit myself. Delivery arrived on the day as stated and had no issues. Would purchase from here again! 😁”

“Spent a lot of time researching, ordered and paid, after a day received an email to say not in stock, had to refund order before ordering a new product then unable to deliver on the day of original order,if a simple replacement had taken place they would have been able to honour delivery so had to cancel order, unable to speak to customer services either all after sales is via email, a whole sale lost rather than offering a replacement for the agreed date, shame as the flooring was affordable and appeared to be good quality”

“I ordered the wrong flooring from fdf, which they were very helpful in finding a new supplier to supply the type of flooring I needed in the timescale I required. On returning the product they made payment promptly. The product I did receive was of good quality and would definitely recommend using fdf. Very helpful staff and will be using them again. “I found the ordering process simple, and it is good that the site auto calculates the waste percentage to the order. I placed 2 separate orders of the same product, due to a last minute change of plan, which slightly complicated the delivery process, however the online support for this was very good and they merged the 2 orders into 1 delivery and reimbursed us the second delivery charge. We haven't started laying the product yet, but the process and service so far has been very good, thank you.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review - unfortunately due to the Christmas holidays, there is sometimes delays in the delivery network - as you requested to cancel whilst the goods were in the delivery network, over the new year period, this is why it took slightly longer. Apologies for the delay.

“I bought vinyl click , 24m2 . I am a joiner with 30 years experience and now a site manager so i know what I'm talking about. The end joints only sit into each other and click when you walk on them . I installed the flooring with a thin acoustic underlay and treated it with as much finesse as i could, as i know how brittle it can be. Honestly the worst quality of flooring I've ever installed and it was £20 a square meter so not cheap. I really regret buying this. Delivery date was changed twice from original date chosen and i was only notified when i called the company.. Poor quality and poor service, Spent nearly £500 and NOT HAPPY”

Hi Allan, Thanks for your review. Normally if this issue occurs, the most common cause is that the product is not adequately supported underneath, this would normally be the subfloor or choice of underlay. if it clicks down when it is walked on, this suggests it has room to move vertically, ideally it should be installed on to a smooth, solid flat surface so it cannot move. This is an issue linked to movement rather than the product its self. For example, if you click two pieces together on a table or worktop - the end joints will remain in place as they cannot move. Tolerances for evenness in the subfloor are of paramount important when installing LVT products as the engineering of the product is so precise.

“THe delivery driver was really helpful and left the product by my car ready for me to load it in. I over ordered some insulating floor covering for under the laminate flooring, and it was easy to return and be refunded. Happy with the overall experience and love the flooring now its down too.”

“Great service and prompt delivery. However 1 issue I have is advice given on underlay, I asked for enough for amount of laminate, I was given 5 rolls to many. Will need to find out about returns.”
