“I can only review Ellis and Thompson in Cobham, Surrey. Usually I stay away from boring chain stores. For many years the steady consultants have have had an excellent knowledge of their community and their preferences in eyewear. The original crew is trustworthy and friendly. Repeat loyal custom is the evidence of good care! The new people seem to change often, so I’ve not had a chance to get to know them. Charlene 😁”

“The optician I saw for my annual eye test was helpful. She gave me two samples of toric lenses neither of which unfortunately worked for me. I phoned to make an appointment to follow this up and find some lenses I could see better with but was told abruptly by the receptionist that all future appointments would each incur a charge of £40 even though I had had all necessary eye tests and only needed alternative lenses to the ones I had tried. Sadly I will now be looking for a new optician having having been a client for over 30 years.”

“I have been using Eye Academy for years but used another company recently to do my eye test. I went to Eye academy for the glasses as a much nicer selection. They made my glasses based on the prescription given. Got the new glasses and after 2 weeks of headaches and another eye test, this time by Eye Academy we realised the other optician had given the wrong prescription!!! How angry was I! Eye Academy sorted the issue out completely for me and no extra charges....I couldn’t recommend them more highly and will not be going anywhere else in the future for Eye Tests or glasses!! Thank you so much!”
