The cover was goix value and easy to purchase. You can never tell how good your cover is unless you make a claim, that is when you really see whether you got a good product

Travel insurance issued by any company can not be assessed until a claim is made. When a claim is made it can then be evaluated by its response to claim

good insurance but premium trippled compaired to last year when asked why was told it was down to age ? dispite having no claims previous year.

Hard to write a review of a product I haven't had to use as yet. I understand why it is important to have insurance but, until you have to make a claim, it is difficult to say whether or not explorer is a good company to have a policy with.

Cover looked good--but did not need to use it so ---no problems. Had a minor issue and had to ring you as I could not get it to take payment and after much messing around on laptop, I got it to take payment but did not realise, it had taken expiry date out and replaced by entry date--thus looking like I was returning on same day. I had to ring up, correct and then pay extra and get different policy

I can only comment on the premium which was the lowest available on the comparison site. I haven't claimed do can't review the claims procedure So far so good.

As with most insurance these days it is over-priced and gives far too many get-outs for the insurer. One wonders if it is worth bothering with, except that you have to have it, but in general the whole industry has become so risk averse that it is not fit for purpose. well, you did ask!

Ok initially but difficult to get through when I needed to change my holiday details-what about having a callback system rather than "sorry all lines are busy at the moment" ?

I haven’t used the insurance for anything yet however it was easy to arrange and quickly set up although I thought a little expensive

Easy to use website cannot give review of service as I have had non needed to claim. Able to give a balanced review should I ever make a claim

Good Insurance ............ but expect to receive dozens of follow up friendly but unwanted emails from their CEO about stuff you are really not interested in.

It's not until you have to make a claim on the insurance that you know how good it is. But it was easy to set up and reasonably priced.

Impossible to rate unless we need to make a claim. Receiving daily emails from you is frustrating and irritating. I need to look at the email in case there is something important but they are all just junk. Please reduce or stop these irrelevant emails

The cost of insuring myself and my wife for 10 day short holiday was extortionate and considered unessessary for the trip and I will shop around next time for a realistic package.

Product fitted my needs and purchase was straightforward and simple. I have no experience of a claim so cannot rate any outcome hence only 3 stars. I receive too many emails from you and will unsubscribe.

I have paid for our insurance but have not received a copy of the policy. I requested on the phone and it still hasn’t arrived. I am now on holiday and definitely need a copy. Jenny Millem

I just wanted a cheap policy to cove the family for a trip... Got that. Didn't really like the newsletter type emails every otherday though so had to unsubscribe.
