“Call me old fashioned (as my daughters do) but it is so simple setting up travel insurance with Explorer, just call them up. I am sure you could find a cheaper deal via the internet, but it is reassuring to verbally discuss any health issues & know you are properly protected. I unfortunately had to make a claim with them 4 years ago when my then 82 year old mother passed away. That went reasonably smoothly & was paid out. Been using them twice a year for around 10 years. Taking my 83 year old mother in law away with us shortly & had no problems insuring her despite a cancer scare a year or so ago. Have recommended Explorer to many people.”

“Website really easy to use, very competitive prices, not had to use in emergency so can't comment on that side of things, they were the only company I could get to give my Dad an annual policy at the age of 79, very good service!”
