Our engraved pens make the perfect gifts for birthdays, Christmas and graduation and our engraving is done in-house so orders are shipped quickly and efficiently. “I was looking for two quality roller ball pens which could be engraved as a keepsake for two of my grand children for Christmas. I chose Executive Pens because of excellent service in past years. The pens arrived nicely gift boxed, but I was disappointed to discover my grand children’s names had been printed rather than Laser engraved. It looked cheap. Very disappointed . John Roberts”

Hi John I am sorry you are a little disappointed with your pens. I can confirm we only engrave our pens. We have never printed pens, because printing doesn't give a permanent mark. We use a combination of laser etching and drag engraving depending upon the finish of the pen. For example our lacquer finish pens are laser etched because the drag engraver can chip the lacquer and give a rough cut. With the laser, we can get a clean cut on the material, so the engraved text looks crisp. For the Waterman Rivera Pens, they have a thin layer of lacquer on them which we remove to reveal the silver barrel below with the laser engraver so the text finish is shiny silver to match the trim of the pen. I am sorry if the effect is not as you expected, but I can confirm it should not wear away with use as printed pens would. “I recently ordered a Waterman pen and pencil set from Executive Pens Direct. I have to say from start to finish they were superb. My initial request was out of stock - but they very kindly made me aware of an alternative which was just as nice as my original choice. Polite email contact throughout and delivery was really quick and secure. Would thoroughly recommend EPD to anyone wishing to purchase a writing instrument as THE company to deal with.”

“I ordered from executive pens direct after they showed as 1 very competitive and 2 Local to me - pen arrived and I had a feeling it had not been engraved as ordered! It hadn't....contacted them and they were great sent a return label confirmed all details, kept me informed and pen was back with me engraved within 4 days from postage! Sometimes the sign of a good company is how they deal with an issue not just the quality of the product - will deffinately use them again”

“I bought a refill for my partner’s Waverley ballpoint pen. The pen was a graduation present from her parents over 40 years ago. Refill fits perfectly, and with it’s black ink and fine point writes very similarly to a fountain pen. She’s now busy writing Christmas Cards for friends and relatives we won’t be able to meet this year.”
