We arrange adventure activities and activity holidays. Our range of services is vast, from a single activity event, up to a week long all inclusive activity holiday. “I was contacted straight away when I enquired about the quadding experience. Both Matt and James were very informative and sorted everything out for me stress free. There were some last minute changes, but they never complained and were happy to accommodate. The quadding was excellent (considering I'm not a courageous person, I definitely would go again!) and we enjoyed working as a team for the buggy racing event. All staff were fab”

“The whole process was very easy. I gave a brief overview of what was needed and Essential Adventure did the rest. They kept in touch and advised of updates in a timely manner. There were no issues on either of the days with timings or booking details. I would happily recommend Essential Adventure and definitely will be using them again in the future.”

“The team at Essential Adventures made organising a stag do easy from start to finish. The team were helpful i. recommending events and the payment portal is simple to use. Communication was good throughout. The actual event on the River Dart was a fantastic weekend and enjoyed by all. Thank you”

“The event itself was great, the guy hosting was excellent. Having an individual web page to log into and pay made it very easy. Unfortunately, even though I requested to be contacted out of my work hours on numerous occasions, this did not seem to be followed. I had numerous voicemails on initial correspondence, before even confirming the event, within my working hours. This made it impossible for me to take the calls at these times. This carried on throughout the process. I was also not informed of the requirements for my venue (electricity supply) and even though this was eventually organised by the company hosting and the event ran smoothly, I had to spend a great deal of time phoning around venues to try to find an electricity supply.”

Hi Ailie thanks again for booking with us and for leaving feedback. Great to hear that your event went well. I'm really sorry if we contacted you at inconvenient times during your booking. We do try our best to contact at the requested times but it appears not in your case. Again please accept my apology. Regarding electricity, the event you had booked was Bubble Football which requires electricity to inflate the zorb suits. Because you requested to source your own venue we left this part to you. Most venues have some form of electricity supply, but on this occasion unfortunately not. I understand that when alerted to the issue my colleague Daniel found a suitable replacement, but apologies for any inconvenience. Taking your feedback on board, moving forward we will make it clearer about the power source. Thanks again and we hope to welcome you back soon. Matt

“I used Essential Adventure to book my sisters hen do and found them very easy to work with. They provided all the necessary information very quickly and the payment scheme was easy to use. The night went smoothly and I'd highly recommend them. I will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“The booking process and changes I made to the booking were so easy and nothing was too much of a problem. The stag weekend went exactly as planned, the hotel was great and we all had a fantastic time.”

“I had a hen group of 17 women and we did the assault course. It was so much fun from the beginning to the end. Great team building activities and solo activities along with races. You definitely need to be happy to get very muddy and wet. Such a great laugh and was great at bringing a big group together who didn't all necessarily know each other. The hen loves physical activities therefore this assault course was the best match!”

“Essential adventure organised well - full payment was required a little earlier than I would have expected, and than was originally explained (a deposit had already been put down) - so they ended up hassling us quite a lot, but otherwise the organisation of the activities was great. The separate payment method for large groups is great. The raft building event itself was a lot of fun, and the organisers did very well to set it up flawlessly and tolerated a large group of boozy 30 year olds with ease!”

Hi Robert, Thanks for your feedback. We're glad that everyone had a great time building the rafts! Because you booked quite close to the event date and your large group size, we did have to collect payments pretty quickly. This was to ensure we could book instructors in plenty of time to run your event. We apologise if it was all a bit hasty, but hopefully you can now appreciate why. We're glad you liked the way everyone was able to pay individually via the event link we sent out. It's a great time saver. Please keep us in mind for any future events.

“As a lot of people know organising a stag do is a real pain, trying to cater to everyone's needs. Essential Adventure made it easy from start to finish, assisted me in selecting the best activity for the group based on age and group size. Organised all our travel to and from the activity and ensure we arrived at the activity with plenty of time to have a couple of beers. No rushing around made the day run very smoothly. Thanks Essential Adventure. Would highly recommend in the future.”

“Pressure was taken away from me to chance funds for a clay pidgeon shoot, and we were all kept in the loop on arrangements, such as travel, times etc. About 70% of us hadn't clayed before. And all of us want to continue the sport, because of the experience.”

“Recommended safari quads and it was truly another level from the usual quad bike experience and I highly advise this experience to be one to remember. Had an issue with confused booking dates at Hotel but Matt sorted this within 30 mins of advising the problem.”

“This was a really good team building event and also a lot of fun. The equipment and guidance provided was really good. The only negative point was the amount silt at the bottom of the water. Obviously the activity they were doing means that they would be falling in the water and when they did a lot of silt came up from the bottom of the water which was very dirty and smelly and not very nice when it went in your mouth.”
