Mark gave our 8.5kW ASHP it's first service. Mark was very thorough with the service and helpfully took the time to answer questions and explain all aspects of the system.

Mark provided the first service for our Mitsubishi 14kW ASHP this week. He did a thorough job and confirmed that we were running the system efficiently. The service took around 1.5 hours.

Really great engineers who worked throughout the morning to make sure that my heat pump was running smoothly and efficiently for the coming year. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked everything thoroughly before they left. I have a service contract which I am very pleased with and means I have no large bill at the end either.

4.5 stars would have better reflected our assessment of this heat pump service. Mark is a very courteous, friendly and efficient service engineer and we can have no complaints about his work. However, on this occasion he arrived at about 8:30am when we were expecting him between 12 and 4pm (as scheduled) - only an administrative oversight, but in theory we could have been out! The price of the Gold servicing package is quite high and is increasing by more than inflation in 2024-5 but includes remote monitoring of the heat pump system and paying monthly makes it worthwhile for us. Overall pretty satisfied.

While we’ve had to adjust pricing to reflect rising operating costs (especially with the inclusion of features like remote monitoring), we do aim to keep things fair and valuable—paying monthly definitely helps take the sting out. Very good service visit conducted with great efficiently, knowledge of heat pump system and operation and with great courtesy. The engineer was ready and willing to discuss and explain the service process and what to look out for as a householder to ensure the system continues to run correctly. All round good experience.

Just had the annual service on our ASHP, underfloor heating and rads etc. Mark was great - really helpful (answered all sorts of questions), polite, on time and as last year delivered a top service. He was supported by Emily who booked was also very helpful, polite and got everything booked in. Thank you and see you next year!

We've had our heatpump for 15 months and are delighted with it. We recently had our first service, completed by Mark, and as with all our other interactions with EPC staff we found him polite, professional, and full of useful information to help us get the best from our heat pump. Highly recommend.

Faulty battery and complete unwillingness to resolve the issue. I waited weeks for an engineer to come out to fix the battery which has not been working for months. He said it was a dud and needed replacement. EPC have done nothing about this for a week and when I said I wanted a different brand of battery or a refund they ignored me and started saying it was my fault. They refuse to take responsibility and push back on the customer every time. An awful company i cannot recommend. Email below where he lies about why my battery isn’t working and ignores my requests and tells me I have to do what they say..

We want to be absolutely clear: we’ve made every reasonable effort to support you throughout this process—from the initial installation, through to the most recent engineering visit, and now as we work with the battery manufacturer to get the issue resolved. At no point have we dismissed your concerns; in fact, our engineer attended site promptly and identified the issue, which we’ve been actively escalating. As mentioned in the email you’ve shared, the battery was not operational due to it being powered down—a fact confirmed during our April visit. We're not interested in finger-pointing, but it's important to clarify this detail, as it's key to understanding the timeline. While we appreciate that this situation has been frustrating, resorting to personal attacks and publicly accusing our team of dishonesty—when we’ve been working to resolve a third-party product issue—is not a constructive way forward. We stand by our team’s professionalism and commitment to customer support.

I am no kind of expert about Heat Pump systems or roof top solar panel systems, the former installed by EPC in August 2020, the latter installed in 2010 and now incorporated into EPC's care and management. The annual Service of the Heat Pump system seemed to me to be very meticulously carried out by Mark on a system that in recent years has been working very well for me as the system user. Very reassuring, and many thanks to Mark and the EPC Team.

Excellent service by this company! Mark communicated well and advised on issues, sorted out some minor issues which was done by installation team, which I believe was not this company! After the service and works carried out he explained on how to improve on energy efficiency and explained the mechanics of the system again in simple terms! Very pleased.
