Avoid like the plague. I took up one of their quotes for Any Engine Ltd for £1550 that was turned into a bill for £4300 for a fully reconditioned engine. In truth they fitted a second hand engine and denied this despite the change of engine number, numerous other clues and not to mention since return a £600 bill elsewhere to repair the leaking fuel pump.Engine Trust cannot be trusted and clearly either are linked to this fraud or are completely incompetent in checking out their recommended repairers

The website is clear and easy to use, a few minutes and your done. Unfortunately, I only received one quote, which while being clear and concise, meant I had nothing to compare it against, so it may or may not be competitive.

Engine Trust should act as an escrow agent between the buyer and seller. Nearly all sellers are selling flawed or non existed engines. There should be a vetting process from Engine Trust of the sellers. Each seller should deposit at least £5,000 with Engine Trust which should be used if the buyer was missold a flawed or non working engine. The concept should work all the time and not on a hit and miss basis.

Professional quick response just not suitable/cost effective (my valve bent not whole engine gone) for my situation so I have not followed through so can’t comment on product/trustworthiness but service very good hence average trust
