“First time I have had to use a breakdown service. When I called they were very friendly, reassuring and just asked relevant questions. The recovery guy was also friendly, helpful and explained what the problem was so I understood. Got car started but was obvious there was still a problem, followed me to my garage, had to restart car 3 times on the journey. No lengthy paperwork to complete at the end. Would recommend service.”

“Quick service, problem sorted. Excellent value, wasn't expecting to have homestart on my policy due to the price I paid but I did. Call handler was quick and efficient. Breakdown mechanic was there within 30 minutes and immediately identified the problem (I have some knowledge about cars and never knew this problem!), he sorted it and I was on my way to work. Great service throughout. Delighted.”

“I accept that the estimated time of arrival is approximate. However when the predicted arrival time continues to slip hour by hour despite being told that the vehicle will be with me in a few minutes on two occasions, it begins to be unacceptable. When it got to 11pm and the driver was on another job, I suggested that if the mechanic was amenable I might as well wait until the morning. And I was booked in for first thing 9am the following day. No one arrived at 9, or 10. Keen to get my car to a garage, I suggested that I cancel the job and call a garage to collect my car before everything shut at lunchtime. I was told I could not do that without a fee as the job had already been booked. I understand the reasoning for this rule, but at 15 hours after my original call I had little faith that a recovery vehicle would ever arrive. Feeling that there must be a point at I could break this booking, and with the person I was speaking to unable to authorise that I asked to speak to a manager but was told there would not be anyone in the office that day.”

“They were very competitive in terms of price and sent an automatic email out acknowledging my membership, along with enclosing downloadable documents setting out the terms and conditions. I have not had to call them for breakdown recovery as I only just joined on Monday 12th.”
