Booking system is a total waste of time. Ordered tyre and selected a morning appointment for 11:00 to 11:30. Arrived at 11:10 to be told that there would be at least a 3 hour wait. So what is the point of having a booking system with time slots if you are unable to keep to anything remotely close to the chosen time? Cancelled the booking and came home.

Booked an MOT with Salisbury branch, arrived early and left car. On returning one and a half hours later (with no contact from garage) I was informed that they had 'forgot' to check me in and nothing had been done. Extremely unprofessional.

Four months after starting my investment, I began to feel uneasy when I attempted to make my first withdrawal. My account, which held over $7,000, was unexpectedly locked, and I was told to reach out to customer service. Despite my repeated attempts to access my funds, they ignored every request. After confiding in a colleague, they recommended I contact Chelsy Desmarais. She guided me through the process and helped me successfully recover my money. I took my car to do service B which was indicated on the dashboard overdue maybe 5 days when I went to collect the car they delivered it to me with service A 36600 miles overdue which had never appeared. And they told me that they couldn't do the reset and I had to go to Mercedes... So I went to do service B and they gave me with a problem that I've never seen before... I am very disappointed. I am not going there never again. To avoid...

Absolutely horrendous Took my car a couple of weeks ago because car wasn't starting properly Was advised on the phone could be battery or alternator Booked car in And was told the car is absolutely fine no issues just needs to go for a long run Today my alternator belt has snapped I rang the garage said the noise and could they pop the bonnet and take a look.....NO they had to rag it around and mess about potentially causing more damage before popping the bonnet and seeing the issue Now I need a new alternator not just a belt Convenient for them not so much for me The service has been getting worse and worse work and sloppiness lack of care No one smiles up there anymore since mark left the place has gone to the dogs .won't be returning I'll be taking the car somewhere more reputable Where they actually care And don't ignore work and wait for it to be worse just so they can change alot more

Subject: Hyundai Tucson Repairs Elite Garages On recommendation of my(very safety conscious) father I had fitted 4 new tires by Elite Garages located in Bournemouth. Some months later I heard a metal sound when changing gear and immediately booked it in to Elite to diagnose the fault. Unfortunately for whatever reason they could not find any problem or indeed hear the noise! I picked up my car and soon after the noise developed and my father, as a retired technician himself, took the car to an independent engineer for diagnosis, which turned out to be a defective gearbox. We sourced a secondhand unit to speed the process as I needed the car urgently for my daily nursery run. Elite were contracted to do the replacement along with a new Hyundai supplied clutch. All went well and after a couple of days the repairs were completed, and my car returned. This is when things started to go wrong and after a couple of weeks I lost all control of the gears and had to be recovered back to the garage (Elite) who then diagnosed the gear cables to be defective and needed replacement at a cost of around £500, I agreed these cost and paid on completion. Then a couple of months later and around only 1000 miles since the gearbox replacement I went to visit my sister some round trip of 200 miles and on the return heard a knocking noise from the front and as I was on the motorway and reluctant to stop with my daughter in the car so I continue the short last part of my journey. I stopped at my fathers house and he was horrified to find both front wheels had come loose, and some studs had broken, as the garage was close-by we secured as best and dropped the car at Elite. On inspection they confirmed that both wheels had come loose damaging the wheels and hubs, but immediately concluded this was due to the fact I had not had the wheel nuts retorqued after the repairs were done as indicated on there invoice! This is when my father became involved and fortunately there was in attendance a regional manager (Melvin) at the time and after let's a say technical discussion he agreed to complete the repairs at no cost to me noting this was because I had spent a lot of money with them!!! My father now oversaw the repair and even supplied two replacement wheels at his cost to speed up the repair process so that I could get my car back quickly. He also documented the issue in writing to the then manager Mark which I have transcribed below. Now fast forward six plus months and yet again I hear a knocking noise from the car and booked in with Elite and explained to their new manager the issue with no reference to the past problem as their technicians I presumed would know of the repairs already undertaken. I received a call that all was well on the test and a fastener was tighten and I could collect the car with no cost. I asked my father to collect as I was at work, and he proceeded to Elite and complimented the manager for her great customer service and proceeded to drive the car and to his astonishment yet again the noise was evident and returned immediately to the garage to inform the manager. This is where it gets interesting as the "Technician" involved was called and he declared the car was SAFE and with no noise and stormed off leaving my father a little upset to say the least, however eventually the manager convinced the "technician" to attend a test drive with my father and confirmed the knocking noise himself on return to the garage he pronounced he should take the car to Hyundai as their team wanted no more to do with this car which indicated a lack in their own competence! I await to hear from the management team at Elite Garages 19/06/24 but would advise ladies if you don't have a father like mine steer clear of this particular garage. (Review to be posted) Nadine Knight " Subject: Hyundai Tucson Wheel stud failure Mark Thank you for your time this morning and the confirmation that to your knowledge Elite Garages are not ISO 9001 Quality accredited company. However you did confirm that you have in house facilities to test and certify your calibrated instruments which had been done recently. This would therefore eliminate the prospect of this failure occurring due to an incorrect torque setting being applied to the wheel nuts as long as it was set correctly to the manufacturers specification. As per our conversation and agreed resolution to this potential life threatening event with Melvin your area manager, I will now document in writing what was agreed so that we have no misunderstanding of what needs to be done to rectify the damage that has occurred due to the nuts coming loose after repairs carried out for the replacement of the gearbox on the 14th July 2023. Both front wheel hubs to be replaced with exchange items sourced and inspected by Elite. Both damaged wheels to be replace with inspected undamaged rims or as indicated by the ones removed i.e scuff marks. All studs, wheel nuts and locking nuts to be replaced with new. (if studs are included with sourced hubs this is acceptable on inspection) Inspection of wheel bearings if included with second hand hubs. Wheel balance and aliment on completion of repairs As you are aware when I delivered this my daughter's car to you for the gearbox repair, I emphasised the safety aspect to this vehicle, as it would be transporting my granddaughter as well and did not question the cost and ensured it had new tires supplied recently by your company. Please bear this in mind when dealing with this safety and emotive issue which could have resulted in something much more serious. Paul Knight Letter drafted on behalf of Nadine Knight (car owner) P.s Stud failure due to "side load fatigue facture" resulting from loose wheel nuts

Rude and obstructive! MOT booking email clearly states "Arrival time 10:30 - 11:30" but when I arrived at 10:55 I was told "You're too late mate" so I mentioned the email and was told I was wrong, which I politely challenged and was told "Show me the email" The chap on reception showed absolutely no interest in finding a solution or even rebooking. And this is not the first experience with the same guy. I had been a customer at Elite Garages in Brighton for 16 years but I will not be back again.

You didn’t validate your customer’s email addresses, a terrible data privacy stance in an information age

I was not happy at being told the new tyres could be up to 2 years old. I refused to have tyres older than 6 months. The desk clerk started to push back at me, eventually, he said he would check the age of the tyres and they turned out to be about 6 months old, which was my limit of acceptability. The fitter was surly and I was not convinced he fitted new valves. I asked if he could see why I was slowly leaking ait on one tyre and he did not report back.

My car was sent in for a Gold Service and some additional items. After the Service most of the additional items had not been commenced and as i drove along the highway a few hours later my rear wheel fell off as the nuts had not been affixed Elite finally collected the car fRom Bicester and took several days to return it to me. There was no apology and no credit for the work not previously paid for, I had to pay a considerable amount of money to Get Myself back to Bournemouth, The garage offered no compensation. There were several expensive recommendations after the service for work That should be done I have since had my care checked by both RAC and AA and Both said such work is Unnecessary , There was a problem with the cooling system, Elite wanted about 800 pounds to Fix it saying it needed a new radiator. It was a problem with a pump and cost 185 pounds to replace . I have now passed all the paperwork to my lawyer for further action and recovery of my costs caused By elites failure to carry out the work correctly

Your Brighton branch damaged the wheel on my nearly new car whilst fitting a replacement tyre. You offered a solution to fix it, when I stated the solution wasn’t satisfactory, you simply handed me off to Black Circles and I’ve not heard anything else from you. Apart from now, and you want a review. Really?

Haywards Heath Branch Three month ago I took my car to Parker’s with an air conditioning fault they told me the best place to go would be elite to find the leak. I booked my car in and told them that there was an issue with the air conditioning could they check for a leak. I picked up the car and was told there was no leak but the refrigerant level was small so had to be topped up so I had paid for an air conditioning service. After two months the air conditioning in the car started to make the same whooshing noises that it had the first time it had failed. Within another month it had stopped working. I took it into elite and was told on the last visit they had not looked for a leak they had just topped it up. I told them why I had brought it to them in the first place and then it was suggested to me that within the last three months the fault could have developed. I could see I was not going to get anywhere so walked out, I will not be going back very disappointed.

I bought 4 new khumo (non run flat) tyres online from your website (recommendation of tyres via my numberplate), for my 730d. Booked a slot and took time away from work to drop the car off in the morning. Upon taking the car in, I was told that they couldn't be fitted because the current wheels had run flats on them (and that they cant fit tyres they dont recommend). I said I was aware but the tyres were not runflats, but they where listed as recommended for my car online on your website. The chap then said they obviously make cars from the factory with runflats or non runflats but they can't fit either, if it differs to what is on the car, even if the customer requests and they are recommended via the website provided by yourselves. So this then left me with four new tyres and fitting services declined. No rebate was given off the price for not fitting the tyres, "tyre fitting is included free" so I was told. leaving me with four tyres at the original price that I had to take to a rival garage to get fitted at a extra cost of £80 labour (they had no issues fitting non runflats, they said they would only not fit them if you where trying to put a Non run flat on the same axle as a run flat, which is fairly standard logic). Point being, no where on the website or in the store does it say the policy you wont fit non run flats to a car that currently has run flats or viceversa.

I took my car to Elite as the clutch had failed. They fitted a new one. I picked the car up and the clutch felt really loose. I returned the car and they said it needed bleeding. I left the car with them. When I collected the car and drove it home, it felt a little better but I still wasn’t confident that it was all right. I drove to work at Cottesmore Golf Club. There was a loud bang from under the car. I jumped out and looked under the car. I couldn’t see anything. I was worried being on a busy country road . I managed to get the car in gear and turned into the entrance of Cottesmore. There was another loud noise, a workman came running towards me and looked at the car. We couldn’t see anything. I called out the RAC who towed it back to Elite at Mannings Heath. This was in December 22 and January of this year. The gear box had imploded. I am in dispute now with Elite . I have had the car stored and a second opinion has shown that I need a new clutch and gearbox . Elite are now not answering my emails. I have sent an email to the MD he has not responded. I have just been informed by my insurance company that their solicitors will look at my case now. I am so disappointed and stressed by this whole event. I have asked for a meeting but no response.
