“The Chicken coop / run + run extension I purchased from Eggshell were a very pleasant surprise. After seeing many similar sized and priced coops in local garden centres & pet shops, I was not expecting the quality of the item I received. It is well finished and sturdy. Although not a five minute job to assemble, it was pretty much idiot proof as all pieces are designed to only fit one way. When fitting hinges and latches, the position of all these items were pre-marked in the timber. Excellent for those like me, not too fond of instructions. I ordered the coop on a Sunday afternoon and it was dispatched Monday & reached me Tuesday AND Eggshell phoned to confirm the delivery with me. Everything about this order has been a pleasure. I just hope the chickens like it as much as I do when they arrive !”

“It arrived when they said it would - as for more information, I have not opened the box yet so cant comment on the product. We are waiting to take it down to the allotment this weekend.”

“It was delivered quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. It would have helped if the diagrams were a bit bigger. Overall I am pleased with it. One very minor thing; the bolt was missing from one of the locks. I do see this as minor and would recommend it to friends”

“The coop arrived on the date stated,it was packed well and nothing was damaged.It was a little difficult to read some of the instructions due to the poor quality photocopying . We still have a couple of screws and other bits left over but all the parts seem to have fitted together and it looks like like the photo on the web site, Just got to get the chickens”

“Great service from Eggshell. I Literally had a call to arrange delivery within minutes of placing the order. The delivery was made promptly the next day by a very friendly man who had some chickens of his own. It took me a while to put it all together but it is egg-celent quality and well made. I would definitely recommend Eggshell for anyone thinking of investing in a coup or run.”

“i bought a mayfair chicken house and an extension for two hens it has wheels so i can move it on the lawn even with just two hens i find it needs to be moved every two days hens do a lot of poo the only problem i had was that two cross rails one on the extension and one on the house both had large knots right in the centre section and were nearly broken in two so needed battens across them to rienforce the regards m dorsett”

“The service was literally unbeatable. Some forty minutes after placing my order on line I received a 'phone call saying "It's on the way". It arrived some thirty hours after my order. Assembled it looks much better than a photo and far to posh to put chickens in ! Would I buy again ? Would I recommend ? Yes, for sure. I advise fitting the wheel-mounting blocks at the earliest opportunity, drilling pilot holes and using the correct screwdriver. To stop roosting in the nest boxes I cut some thin ply to size and with two grooved lathes, arranged for it to be stored under the coop roof.”
