“This is the second Chicken House purchased. My first purchased in 2013, and has come through the first north Yorkshire winter very well. Robust and wind/rain proof. Well Constructed and very easy to assemble. I believe that the product is very competitively priced and the service from EggShell excellent. I unreservedly recommend. I gave my first, when assembled, a coat of external quality varnish, and this has worked very well. My hens are VERY content”

“I paid an experienced DIY tradesman to put together and he had to glue some areas and add longer screws. He felt the instructions could be clearer, particularly perch install. The quality of the wood is good, as is general build and delivery very fast.”

“We've had three coop's in 12 years for our energetic rabbits. The EggBox L is by far the best in terms of quality and looks we have ever had. It's easy to assemble, and the one very very minor issue we did have was solved within 24 hours with a new part arriving. Our friends who keep chickens were equally impressed seeing it yesterday, saying it was better than anything they had. Superb product, and excellent customer service. Many thanks.”

“I bought this for our 2 rabbits. Not put them in yet but I enjoyed building it and it went together well. Excellent customer service and very fast next day delivery. I spent a long time choosing this and I'm not disappointed at all. Very happy.”

“Nice looking little coop but will NOT be fox proof! Prompt delivery but Courier did not deliver all in one go and a pack of screws were missing.”

“Bought Eggshell Windsor chicken coop. Order arrived quickly and all parts there. However, the instructions were picture instructions only and not very good at that, so it took ages to put together and quite a few adjustments were necessary. Also the handle blocks split as they were screwed on so replacements have been requested. Having said that the coop looks good and it is certainly dry inside so should be ok for my bantams.”

“Lovely quality. Easy to put together. Well thought out with regards to cleaning and access. Great value. It was so much cheaper than most others on the market. Delivery was quick and exactly when promised. Can definitely recommend this coop and Eggshell.”

“Great service, arranged delivery to suit me, and coop arrived promptly on the day. Instructions for constructing coop were simple to follow, packs of screws and fittings were clearly labelled and i guess it took just under a couple of hours to put together. One tip I would offer, is to construct on the site you want to have the coop as it is a little heavy for one to lift and manouvre when the house is built. Overall I would recommend this to anyone starting out with chickens - it represents very good value and provides good, sturdy and safe accomodation for the chickens.”

“A company that can be trusted. Courtesy phone call to let me know when delivery would be, delivered as promised, run and coop well packed, no damage to either product. Easy assembly, good quality materials used. Looks great, added an extra run as standard would say run only big enough comfortably for 2 hens, "Rangers" coop big enough for 4. Can definitely recommend. 5* Many thanks”

“We bought the nelly coop and a 2 meter run. The coop is beautiful! Very well made, put together very easily, and our chickens have a castle!! We have put 4 chickens in this, and they have lots of room. There is plenty of room for more but as we can't completely free range at the moment I would rather they be happy. The run however is a little less well made and quite flimsy, we were thinking of adding a second runs making it 4 m long but we plan to make this ourselfs now as I'm concerned moving the run about will shorten its life span even more. Dissapointed in the run, but the coop is amazing!!! Thank you Eggshell!!”

“Following the slaughter of chicken and a duck I needed to replace the poultry housing with that which was vermin and fox-proof. The first Eggshell housing was so easy to assemble, and so solid that I have now had a second delivered. I will feel secure in the knowledge that the remaining chicken, and two ducks are safe from predators.”
