“I am very pleased with my new henhouse. It arrived the next day as promised and the quality, design and overall finish are excellent. It is much sturdier and more substantial than others I have purchased in the past for a similar cost from other companies. I purchased The Granary model and I especially like the raised nesting boxes and the completely opening side door which are things you don't necessarily appreciate until you have experience of hen keeping, but they do make life much easier. I would highly recommend this company.”

“I just bought the stables XXL and am totally delighted with the ease of build and quality of the house and run. It reminds me of a swiss chalet and is a very attractive addition to my allotment where my chickens free range. I shall certainly buy from Eggshell again.”

“Purchased a Kingston Portable and Extension Run for Betty Gertrude Nelly 2mtrs. The overall product are ok but we had wood split at several ends, doors don't have enough locks on then as you can push the doors in at the bottom. Although we are happy with the products we were going to purchase 2 more runs but then notice the large price hike, which I don't feel they are worth.”

“Quick delivery to Northern Ireland (most other manufacturers refused to send outside England and Wales). Very straightforward to assemble with screws all clearly labled and holes pre-drilled. Looks good too. Heavier grade wood would have made it 5 stars for me.”

“I received a phone call as soon as I had placed the order to confirm the delivery date. Delivery was fast and on time. The chicken run was good quality, easy to put together and exactly what I wanted. I was very happy with the customer service and the product and would definitely order from this company again.”

“Easy to use secure website. Not so good at answering the phone though - I tried repeatedly to call to arrange delivery and eventually had to mail them. Parcels arrived on time and in good condition. All in all, a good service - but coud do with an anserphone.”

“Ordered three coops and hutches for rabbits which are very well made and easy to put together. Two came with covers which are also very good quality. Will order again if I need any more. Quick delivery too.”

“i have quite good eye sight but the instructions were a nightmare, maybe try putting them on 2 sheets and making the pictures bigger so people who are not experts at putting things together can have a wee clue.....next day delivery not good either i got mine after 3 days”

“Lovely little chicken house, but I needed to call in someone to help put it up - not at all easy! There were lots if separate parts, lots of screws and the instructions were bewildering. I can see some reviews say construction is simple, so perhaps it's just me! Love it now though, looks great.”

“Very impressed with the service I received when I recently purchased a chicken house from Eggshell. I ordered late on a Sunday evening and Monday morning was contacted and informed a delivery would be taking place in my area the following day! The chicken coop turned up bright and early on Tuesday morning as stated. Everything was well packed and well constructed with good instructions as to how to put the coop together. My 14 bantam chickens thank you very much for their lovely new home!”

“Overall the service was good. The ordering and delivery was quick and easy, with no problems at all. The product was of good quality and as expected. I found the instructions difficult to understand at times, being a complete novice at diy projects, and a couple of the holes did not line up with the screws and one screw actually broke in half. Saying that they were only minor blips and fixable. The chickens are very happy in their new home, thankyou.”

“I was a little disappointed it didn't turn up till 3 o'clock but it was worth the wait and it only took hubby 2hrs to put it together. I just can't wait to get my hens now, im sure they are going to love their new home thank you eggshell. I love it”

“Item was advertised with a FREE cover but in fact it was offered at a £10 reduction if you bought the hutch and cover together. This was misleading and probably breached Sec 3 of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 however overall the product offered good value for money so wasn't an issue.”

“Bought 'The Stables' chicken coop, and within minutes had a phone call saying they could deliver the very next day!! :) It was straightforward to assemble and look great, chicken are very happy!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!”

“I looked at building my own chicken shed and run, however whn i priced up the raw materials i found it to be much more expensice than purchasing one. The EggShell xtra large 10ft coop and run was my choice and it exeeded my expectations. The quality of the product is exceptional and really easily to assemble. I would recomend these to anyone.”
