“2 of the plates so bought were the wrong ones fur the set I have. I feel the photo of the day one plate was not clearly focused and therefore I’ve purchased the wrong ones. I would have sent them back but it seems I have to pay for the postage to return. Therefore it will cost me as much as the plates to return, so I’m stuck with them. Not really the kind of after-sales service so was expecting.”

“Staff were very helpful on the chat site when I needed information about the cutlery I was thinking of buying. Sadly, my husband believes the Arthur Price cutlery we bought are not genuine and are fakes. The stamps are different on them and not same material. Photos attached.”

“Service was very good, although the product, a Smeg hand mixer, unfortunately had signs of either use or just very poor quality finish on the chrome accessories. The Product was accepted as not being up to scratch Awaiting refund 7 days later.”

“Packaging great, the item was in good order but it was not made too clear in your write up that it was an espresso size mug. and not a full size mug that was on offer, I was very disappointed when it arrived.”

“I always go to this site for the advantageous prices on Le Creuset but last year when I tried to return a small item I was given an inquisition by the customer service woman. Eventually she accepted the return. I do not like to be questioned repeatedly on a new item I have purchased that I am not happy with. Do better.”

“Ordered a wrendale mug, arrived quickly but disappointed not in a box also had some clearly visible dirty marks inside which had to be cleaned before giving as a gift.”

“It was nice to have a free gift when spending over £100, however toaster arrived with the name Magimix the wrong way round on the glass. I don't know if the fact that the glass is incorrectly set in the machine means that side of the glass is not sealed and could create a safety issue.”

“Not impressed by the dusty,damp, rather smelly and mildewed box the gin glasses were in. As they had been bubble wrapped someone must have noticed the condition of the box. Luckily they were not a present so I threw the box away and washed the glasses. Otherwise they would have been returned.”

“I have had 2 orders with Dawsons. The first was perfect and I reordered. The second order RW1505250 had problems 3 of the knives had a discolouration which looked like rust on the blades. Cleaning them managed to remove some of it but not all”

“First of all let me say that the service was very efficient and there is nothing wrong with the actual product.Unfortunately when I opened it as in the picture I have uploaded there was a scratch on the top of the cafetiere .My boyfriend has decided to keep it anyway but we thought you should be aware and felt it should have been checked before being dispatched to a customer. Regards Amanda”

“They appear similar to Spode Blue Italian but definitely a lighter shade of blue compared to all my other tableware, dinner/tea set and bowls, have asked eCookshop where they were manufactured”

“Great products and price. Weirdly, the pan lid I bought was covered in a fine dust. As if it has been in storage on a building site or similar. Not a big issue, as it came off with a wash, but a bit odd.”
