“The price of the 7 seater was much cheaper than anywhere else however the reason for this was the external condition of the car. It had been I. A few bumps shall I say. Didn't affect our hire though so not a problem. It also had a bulb out and service light on so got the impression car wasn't looked after.
The biggest problem with hiring at Lisbon was that the hire firm was not located at the airport and a shuttle was required. This was ok on way out but on way back I had to wait half an hour for the shuttle to get back to the airport which caused us many problems back at the airport and made for a stressful experience to end the holiday.
Additionally the car seats provided were very poor, the seat provided for the two year old was faulty and the latch had to be flicked up to make sure harness stayed in place. Not really good enough when children involved. That aside the car was good value for money.”
“Got exactly what we paid for easy booking, no hidden extras. Was a bit strange at the collection point arranging the car over the phone with a small monitor screen, but we got to grips with it in the end.”
“I think that in the main they are fine but the issue with this and many similar companies is that they are only as good as the product suppliers they can represent and as it is the ultimate supplier that we as customers deal with some of the issues and what happens after the introduction are beyond their control but still effect the experience.”

“The site was easy to use and the price was good. It went like clockwork from booking to pick up to drop off. I upgraded to a standard SUV and it was an excellent drive for my three week road trip. It cost about $10 a day extra but it was well worth it. The agent told me that I would recover the extra charge through the fuel saving, but I was not too sure about that, it was a thirsty beast.”

Very surprised by the excellent condition make / model I picked up compared to the price I paid. Most 'cheap' hire cars are either 'off-airport' which involves dragging luggage off and on buses or clapped out dented bangers handed down from other hire companies. Highly recommend E Carz and will definitely use again.”

Only issue is that the wording says they'll email the voucher, but in fact they email a link to a website where you can download or print the voucher.
That's nit picking though; its simple to book, the car was fine, Herz service was great and I'll use them again and recommend them unreservedly.”
“Got a good rate for a twelve day rental, pick up/drop off at Gatwick. Rental company was carrentals.co.uk, so didn't know who the provider really was, but it was in terminal, which is what I wanted and turned out to be "Firefly" who I found out is owned by Hertz. Rental was good. No problems. Will use this site again.”
