“The customer service was good but overall we were very disappointed with the vehicle we were given… Renault Clio Intermittent lights on and off on the dashboard during our journey and there was a lot of wheel noise ,overall disappointed in the condition of the vehicle”

Good afternoon, We are glad you felt the customer service was good. Apologies you were not happy about the vehicle. Did you call us or contact us about this whilst having the vehicle on hire? I’m sure we would have been more than happy to change you into a different vehicle or called out recovery to you if you felt the vehicle was unsafe to drive. “Needed a van PDQ, have used DVR in past, picked up van for 1 day (Saturday) comfortable clean ready to go, moved granddaughter & belongings, finished well within time frame, dropped off at depot, deposit was refunded in a couple of days. Will always recommend DVR.”

“I was charged, what seemed like an extra days rental, taken from my account, without contacting me to advise. I sent an email asking the reason for the extra charge, however I have yet to receive any reply. Very disappointing customer service.”

Good afternoon Mr Leak, Your email was responded to on Friday 25th March. It may be worth checking your spam folder just in case. You originally booked a vehicle online which was rejected due to lack of avalibilty & if for any reason this has not been returned to your account you will need to contact your bank. “I recently rented a Luton Van with tail lift, to lug sofas and other stuff around the country for a few days. All was great - from the booking process, to the collection and the van itself. Highly recommended and love that I can support a local, rather than international, rental company. Well done Dorset Van Rentals!”
