“My Dec booked car was provisionally booked over the phone through Andy the Weymouth Manager and confirmed at the Dorchester office on payment/collection. Andy has always provided me with a great service from the Weymouth Office where all my previous DVR cars have been supplied/collected by me ready and clean, but the Dec hire car was dirty inside (no excuse) and out (perhaps too cold for the hose?). Also, the Dorchester office didn't open its door until 0810 in the morning (0800 opening time?) and I am used to Andy opening up at the Weymouth office approx 15 mins before 0800 so I can get the paperwork sorted out as early as possible and I can get away quicker. I have been very happy with service I have received in the past from Andy and his Weymouth office team but was disappointed with my last experience at the Dorchester office. 5 stars for Andy & Weymouth but only 2 stars for Dorchester but I can't score both hence 3 overall.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I will be sure to show this to Andy & the rest of the team at Dorchester. The hose may have been frozen hence the outside of the vehicle not being cleaned however, the inside should have been cleaned & I will speak to our cleaners regarding this. I can only apologize if the reception door was not opened on time. I am unsure why this happened but again, I will pass the message on to prevent this happening in the future. Dorset Vehicle Rentals

“Always a great service. Only thing on the Vauxhall Corsa I hired was the service light came on after 200 miles. Not a major issue but some hirers may worry if they had seen that. Car was lovely a clean and drove well”

“The vehicle was as advertised and worked well. The staff were very pleasant. The only niggle was the long wait to pick it up - I sense this is more down to COVID distancing stuff, but if more people we on reception at busier times it would make a big difference.”
