Unfortunately we are having to pay more to buy vehicles and other essentials due lack of vehicles as factory's have been closed down throughout the COVID pandemic. Apologies you are unhappy with the price increase. Please note when you book online you will receive a discount if this helps you at all in future!

“Told van was available on Friday evening for collection - this changed last minute until 830 Saturday morning Appreciate may not have been your fault but had to alter plans last minute for a long drive”

Good afternoon William, I have spoken to the Branch manager to find out what happened. The customer that had the vehicle before you unfortunately extended last minute and unfortunately sometimes we have no control over this. I can only apologise that we had to put back your collection time. We hope the rest of the rental went smoothly.

“While the service on site was excellent and friendly, the actual van provided for a very long journey was not. It had the following problems: Diesel spillage in passenger cabin resulting in unpleasant fumes. Failing clutch requiring nursing for the final day. No air conditioning. Pretty well every panel on the van had previously been damaged.”

“Dorset Vehicle Rentals are very competitive and booking is easy. The helpline people are very helpful. The Bridport branch are courteous, helpful and present well cared for and presentable vehicles. This is my go-to place for hire.”

“The whole process was dead easy. Except, from your website etc it looks as if you have to have the vehicle back by 5pm closing time same day, -otherwise you get charged for 2nd day! The young chap at Yeovil centre put us right on that and told us where to leave key after hours (not in ''box'', but post through LETTER BOX on wall of office!). By the way, the vehicle (medium van: Ford reg No BK19 ONK) was pretty clean and ran extremely well, but we noticed water on floor of cab. We thought you had washed it, -but it never dried up! We noticed it was very slowly running across the floor and out down the drivers step!. So, PLEASE NOTE, you have a slow leak from the cab heater somewhere! Thanks and regards John and Rachel”

“We had great customer service from our Yeovil Branch. First time we used them. We booked to drop back at 10am, but for some reason we were down to be due back for 8am and caused the next customer to wait. Which isn’t how we planned our first visit to go, but Dorset Vehicle Rentals dealt with this well from our point of view. Thank you.”
