“we hired a small fiat budget car for a very reasonable price and it was perfect for our holiday. I felt it was all handled well though there was a bit of a wait on Saturday morning . I would definitely recommend this company, my only complaint is the £36 charge for forwarding a parking penalty notice.”

Unfortunately, due to the amount of speeding/parking fines we get, we do have a full time staff member catering to them, therefore the admin charge occurs. “Usually the service is good. I’ve been using Bridport Car Hire for many years. But they are no longer a family owned firm. This time the service was poor. I don’t have a large data package and the small car came without a satnav. I got lost! I was given a Kia car - seats were very uncomfortable for long journeys. This time I’d give the company a poor rating, but the staff in Bridport were very helpful when I picked up and dropped off the car. I’m not sure I will use them again. It was a very stressful experience.”

Good afternoon, Apologies you felt the vehicle you hired wasn't up to standard. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee satnavs in vehicles as each make, model & year is different. I would recommend booking a larger car next time, if you felt it wasn't comfortable to drive. I am very glad the staff in Bridport were helpful & I will pass on all your feedback to the managers. “The service from Bridport team was excellent. Very friendly and helpful throughout the process of hiring the van. Also really flexible to our needs. The van drove really well and was at a reasonable price. So great to have such a brilliant local service that we will continue to use.”

“The use of an easy to drive 3.5 Luton van with tail lift enabled us to move my mum’s furniture with ease. On collection and return the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that Dorset Vehicle Rentals insurance policy doesn’t allow drivers over 75 which meant my husband couldn’t help out with the driving. Would recommend.”

“I turned up at 0800 on Monday morning looking to hire a car There were none available but the staff spent quite a while looking to see if anything could be moved around to get me on my way on holiday I ended up with a corsa and was very satisfied with the car And the great staff that made our holiday happen Every one was great and went out of their way to help Can’t thank them enough”

“Booked online, picked up a nearly new vehicle on the day. Staff were very helpful and professional. Booking in was very quick and easy, then passed on to vehicle checking staff. Once the vehicle had been checked to everyones satisfaction and signed, it was time to hit the road. On return to the depot, it was a check of the vehicle fuel up and hand the keys back.”
