“handles arrived very quickly and I am happy with the purchase. One comment though, the metal bars for the door handles were slightly to 'fat' to fit in my existing door locks and each one had to be filed down to fit. I was ok with this but other customers may not be as forgiving”

“After paying £10.00 for next day delivery it came a day late. Also although it was supposed to fit my door I needed to drill through the door to make it fit. Fixing holes on door were 163mm. Door handle to centre of lock was 92mm NOT a problem, fritted over lock with no problem. Now fitted it looks good. Regards M.Butler”

The product you ordered was a universal repair handle which may require some minor adaption to fit. We have tried to contact this customer to clarify what has happened with this order but haven't received a response. We received one order from this customer which was dispatched overnight and delivered. We haven't received a second order and wonder if an error may have occurred here because the customer refers to a 'partner site'. We don't have any partner sites so I can only conclude this wasn't us. “Finding genuine ‘Gridlock’ fire door latches had proved difficult so delighted to have found them on Doorfit. Arrived within a few days and well packaged. Same price as inferior alternatives I had tried. Would definitely use again .”
