I wrote a review earlier today in regards to this company and their shoddy engineers who are unable to speak english properly in that they are mostly from Poland and that the reason why there call centre is unable to clearly understand anyone is that you are speaking to someone in Bulgaria. This review is no showing for some reason therefore logically all these other great reviews must be fake. I will be speaking to trading standards about this situation. Also as to there previous visit it was an maytag american fridge freezer. This company was sent out by Domestic and General and i was told by the Domex engineer that the fault was the compressor that is why all our electric was tripping. To cut a long story short it was no such thing. These del boys have no clue another company came out and fix it in 30 minutes. I have spoken to various companies who have said it is common knowledge that their engineers have no clue and are not fully qualified. I have taken a snap shot of this review and will be passing it on to trading standards also to make sure it is still here

Quick service from contact to arrival, extremely friendly, knowledgeable engineer, fixed prices charged as stated. He had correct part in his van and vacuumed behind oven before he left. Impeccable service, can't fault at all, would use again Thanks!

My experience with this company has be good we had misunderstanding with communication but nothing that the couldn't fix, the customer services were happy to resolve the problem l had and the Enginer are very nice and helpful, They were on time too. I would definitely recommend they are focus on pleasing their customers.

In reply to Domex’s comments on my review, I am in no way confused: Firstly, I never stated that any member of staff was named ‘Alas’. The word is an English adverb expressing grief or misfortune and more or less synonymous with the word ‘unfortunately’. I can only say that whoever I spoke to was difficult to understand. Perhaps it was a bad line. My main annoyance is your uncoordinated online booking system. Such a system should link automatically with genuine available appointment slots and capable of updating and confirming in real time, including during non office hours. After I had booked, your screen did not promise to respond back within a ‘business hour’, just within a simple hour. It is now apparent, as you have effectively admitted, that the system has no automation and is merely a log of booking requests that will go nowhere until they have been processed by a human; nor can the available time slots displayed be relied upon for the same reason. It is better to have no online booking system than a poor one, likely to mislead. Finally I would maintain that a repair company unable to provide an appointment for at least four days is not likely to attract custom and certainly contradicts what is promoted on the website. Other companies with similar office hours still provide weekend time slots.

Domex were recommended by Smeg to us for our range cooker. They were easy to deal with and the appointment was quick. The engineer that came out (wish i knew his name!) was highly knowledgeable and determined to get to the bottom of what i thought was a gas leak from our cooker. He carried out multiple tests and got to the bottom of the problem quickly. He was very thorough, neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend and use Domex again.

The engineer telephoned about 25 minutes before arrival. He was then prompt and put overshoes on in our porch because it was a wet day. He listened to our description of the cooker fault thoroughly checked the wiring and quickly found and repaired the fault. He then tested the aspects of the cooker that he had repaired before leaving. He was very courteous and helpful.

The overall service from the date of the repair being booked to the repair completed under 24hrs, the engineer was very pleasant, explained what was wrong and worked very cleanly
