Appointments rescheduled twice. Weather being the excuse. When i called them up this morning, they mentioned that I am 3rd in queue. So it means they were doung rounds in this weather(no snow and london and surrounding areas are normal). They just don’t want to work. Avoid them and go with British Gas. I regret I am having to stay on with this company for another year as I paid for my appliance insurance. Extremely unprofessional!

Dear Venky, We are sorry to hear that you feel that we had let you down. It is rather inconvenient without a washing machine and understand that you feel disappointed. Both times we had to reschedule was indeed as result of the weather. The engineer who had the part and was meant to visit you lives in an area which is not only hilly but severely affected as well. You are right, you were 3rd on the list but the engineer had not even started as he could not make it out of his area. We were hoping that the weather will allow the engineer to set off (even though with slight delay) but the conditions even worsen. Some of us stayed in and could work from home and while outside may seem rather normal that is not the case few miles away! On both occasions we got in touch as soon as we ascertained that we wouldn't be able to see you and did what we could to keep you informed! These are exceptional circumstances and we all experienced disruptions of some kind. Our fleet runs on normal tyres which is rather challenging in these true winter conditions. In a normal circumstances we would not have let you down at all! Some engineers managed to do certain jobs but could not pass certain areas (hilly parts, tricky junctions etc) leading to running ok for a part of the day and not being able to visit some customers. We did our best trying to see as many customers as we could and we had been keeping the rest informed, including yourself about the progress. Had our washer dryer repaired 3 times now by Domex and have had good extended life out of it as a result. Engineers have always been polite and efficient and when parts needed, the staff very helpful in advising on options and costs. Would highly recommend to anyone!

engineer was rude, and left my washing machine worse than before he did the so called repair, it flooded my kitchen, the original repair was the machine was not spinning. would leave no stars but don't have the option. Second visit the engineer could not wait to leave he was in the flat less than 2 minutes, this engineer definitely had a problem when I told him that he had not fixed the problem he told me that he was 5 minutes away and to call him. Domex promised to send somebody else between 10:00 am and 13:00 hrs but they did not come. Would not have this company anywhere near my home again worst company every

Dear Mrs Morris, I’m sorry to hear that your experience with us has not been a good one. When you reported the leak the day after our visit, we did what we could to get the engineer there that day. The engineer refitted the emergency hose. You called in later that day to say that leak was contained, but that there was still a drip. As you said in your review this was booked for 22/02/2018 between. Due to a cancellation in your area, on our supervisor’s job list, there was a mistake made. Your appointment had been cancelled off his job list. Once you called and the mistake was picked up @ 13:04 we wanted to get him to you within the hour. Unfortunately ( and understandably) you were not going to be available. As you already mentioned, you were not happy for us to re-attend. I apologies for the mistake made. Kind regards, Domex

The engineer Peter turned up on time. Ptotected our carpet with plastic shoe covers. Repaired the oven and left all working in good order. Excellent. Cant ask for anything more

The service engineer Nickolay was an extremely efficient and helpful engineer. I would recommend this firm and him in particular as he was so helpful ; he showed me his ID which was reassuring; and had my new machine connected him in no time at all; he tested its functions ; and briefly explained the basic running of the machine to me; and what particularly struck me was he moved my old machine out of the kitchen across my living room for me; I am disabled and also have a tiny kitchen which meant I wouldn’t have much space to move at all otherwise; so I don’t know how I would have managed with cooking etc otherwise; it is refreshing for someone to go that extra mile in order to help; I was so grateful; also he very polite and on leaving said I hope you have a good weekend and enjoy your machine; so thanks Nickolay so much moving the old machine means I can use my kitchen this weekend as I won’t be able to get old machine taken away till next week: I would highly recommend this company for efficiency and I reckon technicians like Nickolay; who genuinely show kindness to Disabled lady on her own deserve a pay rise; I was so impressed I just felt I wanted to comment: I shall remember this company for appliance services again; and have no hesitation in recommending this company; he arrived promptly too; rare in engineers of today:

Had a full explanation from the customer service desk, engineer called in advance of arriving, carried out the repair efficiently and explained what the problem had been and what he had done about it. What more do you want.

Most people seem to have good things to say about their Domex experience. I'm no different and have recommended them to my neighbour, who was also impressed. I found their customer care excellent and the guy who came identified and cured my dishwasher problem quickly, explaining everything as he worked. I learnt a lot. Will definitely call them first in future.

Excellent service. I rang because I could hear something rattling inside the washing machine. Thought something had come out of a pocket and got into the machine. To my surprise was given a slot the same afternoon (due to a cancellation) and the engineer was there in less than an hour. Venko was very polite, put covers over his shoes to make sure he didn't make the house dirty and got to work on the machine. It seems it was limescale that was the issue and he cleaned the hoses, which meant taking the machine apart to get at them. Then put it back together, checked it was working correctly and left. He explained what he was doing, was helpful and ensured that the machine was working correctly and not leaking before he left. Good job!

From initial call to arranging a date, Domex service has been great. The engineer called ahead of arrival to let me know his eta and was polite and courteous when he came. He informed me of the fault he had repaired on my appliance- in simple terms and asked if I’d had any other issues with the machine. I knew there was and at this point he explained there was another repair needed, for which I was grateful for being informed of. This will now be repaired when the part has arrived with no extra labour charges. Definitely worth the very reasonable labour and parts costs; more cost effective than buying a new appliance! Thanks Domex!

Always professional and transparent. Their business model of a fixed call out fee and then a choice to proceed based on diagnostic empowers customer and gives DOMEX a USP. Thank you!

I am a letting agent and Domex are always reliable and professional. Their chap George has just fixed a washing machine for me and was efficient, quick to diagnose the problem and fixed it immediately.
