“Hello Initially I was pleased with a fast delivery but I called with a question and was told my query would need to be sent to the manufacturer but I would get an email but I haven’t. I also sent an attachment with my warranty and I still haven’t received a reply”

“After reading the instructions I tried to slide the cartridge (imitation coals and electrics) into the chassis. It refused to go all the way down. I contacted Direct Stoves and they got back to me and said they would ask their technicians for advice. I'm still waiting for the call 10 days on! I decided to dismantle the chassis myself. The problem was that the four legs retaining bolts and nuts had washers that were too big. The cartridge just sat on top of the washers. After cutting a section from the four washers, the cartridge fitted. Surely, quality control at the factory would have seen this? I wonder how many others have had this problem. Not Direct Stoves fault but they should have come back to me with a solution.”

“Ordered a multi fuel insert on the 7th August,received an email on the 10th saying that they have damaged it in the warehouse prior to delivery. Salesperson offered me £30 compensation which I accepted. Two weeks later still haven’t received the £30 and no idea when I’m going to get the stove. Happy to take the money but not follow up on their word.”

“Very quick and easy order process. Delivery was prompt and courteous. My mother in law has the same stove which performs well and they have improved my model by putting a back plate on the ash pan. Would recommend”

“My local installer told me to only buy from this company, because easy, fast, friendly, helpful and price promise, he was absolutely correct, free delivery 2 day's later, delivery man was amazing, brilliant guy, I found online a cheaper company, direct stoves matched the prices, I was very happy and impressed, my advice is to fine a proper installer, not just a builder ect, because my installer told me exactly what to order, I brought two, installed now, brilliant, love love love, thanks everyone”

“Excellent customer experience. Simple clear order process. Great communications from order to delivery. Delivery as promised and even delayed one day for our convenience. Driver was polite and assisted in placing the stove in a convenient location. Not used the Woodburner yet but I have no doubt it will perform as advertised. Thanks Direct Stoves.”

“My stove was delivered to 2 doors away. We had to carry it. Rang you but not received an explanation. No actual date given for delivery. Neighbour was not in at the time of delivery either”

“Delighted with the fire but the service from Direct Stoves was below standard. My installer is still waiting for answers to question he raised regarding installation, sizes etc. Before we purchased the fire we wanted to confirm some of the sizes. Direct Stoves never bothered to give us answers, after emailing and telephoning.”
