“I recently purchased the Axon Keswick wood burning/multifuel Ecodesign stove and fitting kit from Direct Stoves. I was very impressed with the fast delivery and ease of use of the website. I ordered the stove on a Monday morning and it arrived on Wednesday afternoon. The fitting kit was also included in the delivery. The stove itself is excellent quality and looks great in my living room. It is easy to use and produces a lot of heat. The fitting kit was also very comprehensive and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Direct Stoves to anyone looking for a wood burning stove. They have a great selection of stoves to choose from and their customer service is excellent.”

“My stoves are lovely and the guy I hired to fit them has done a great job. I was, however, disappointed by Direct Stoves customer service and delivery times. My stove was delivered outside of the advised time frame and the company was not the least bit bothered or inclined to help me find out when they would be delivered! Based on this, I'd probably buy elsewhere if I need to again.”

That said, we're sorry for any inconvenience in terms of delivery. Regarding the two-man delivery option selected at checkout, we recommend an additional 5-10 working days on top of our usual lead times, as this service is in high demand at this time of year and does require additional time for booking. We can see that you were contacted within this time frame and advised of an available delivery slot on the 5th October 2023. The lead time is an estimate and we appreciate that, in terms of physical delivery, we went slightly over the suggested 5-10 working days on this occasion. I can however see that our Dispatch team made every effort to get this to you as quickly as we could and that we were simply limited by driver availability. “Excellent service. The stove was at a good price. Access to customer service was quick and the people were polite and knowledgeable. Delivery went without a hitch on the day requested. The two hour time slot given was much better than most people offer.”

“Arrived on time and nicely crated up. Very fast on delivery and a great customer service with advice and making the purchase smooth. Plenty of good technical advice on me getting the right stove. Very easy installation, my wife loves the nice clean lines of the stove. Just love it. Highly recommend.”

“Easy to navigate site. Plenty of choice. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because the carrier they chose to use charge £75 if you want the fire brought in to the house. My parents chose free delivery as they are on a tight budget and the driver left the fire outside in the rain. It was 3 hours before we could finish work and take it indoors. It was upsetting. That said, the fire is in and looks lovely. They love it and it's had many compliments from neighbours who are also shocked it was left on the doorstep. Just something to think of to add £75 on each price if you want it over the front step.”

“Ordering of the stove not a problem. Had an issue with delivery which resulted in me have to do a 3 hour round trip to pick it up from the couriers warehouse myself at my own expense.”
