Excellent staff ; not their fault that the manufacturer let them down on delivery schedule . DS kept us informed and worked with us to complete our programme on schedule. Good company with good attitude.

Called them to ask a question about the sale of a stove, and the person on the line said they didn't have any information about the campaign and the owner just chooses when they stop the sale. Really unhelpful.

Love the new Portway Arundel. Excellent stove for the money and very stylish in the livingroom. Direct Stoves as a supplier are also great.

Poor delivery service. Can't fault Direct Stoves, but it meant that we had to contact the company on several occasions to get a delivery date and time. After four attempts all of the items that were ordered were eventually delivered.

Very helpful operators. Delivery within 48hrs of purchase with plenty of communication. Pity the stove was reduced in price by a significant amount within 1 day of me purchasing it.

Not happy with the purchase I believed it was a Banff Wi-Fi enabled e- Smart fire. After numerous calls and mails I was advised to go direct to your supplier to ask this basic question. Needless to say not feeling a valued customer having paid £784. Kind regards Keith Fletcher 07850760305

Notes on your order indicate that our team had sent across both printable instructions and a video link which would demonstrate how to set up the e-Smart app for this appliance. The link below should also do the same: https://evonicfires.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/New-Stoves-Manual-2024-V2.pdf . Ultimately, and as per the contact information in their instructions manual, the supplier does recommend contacting them directly for any troubleshooting regarding the app or remote. The internet site was really easy to peruse and purchase from. I was able to choose my delivery date and was kept informed when my stove was going to be delivered , times etc., The delivery driver was very helpful. and attentive. Would recommend a purchase from this company and give them the thumbs up for service !!

Brilliant to deal with from start to finish just got my aspect 14 in tonight and safe to say the house is very warm! We selected 2 man delivery and them boys was fantastic getting the heavy stove into the house and the living room, thanks again to all involved

As you mention, the Aspect 14 is a very substantial item with a quality cast iron body and steel door, so it is a very heavy model. The portway Arundel 5kw stove I purchased is a fabulous stove but I had to drill out the spigot that supposed to fit on top of the stove with three little screws.

I purchased a cranmore 5 wood burner which I am really impressed with. However the service from direct stoves were I purchased Axon Cotswolds limestone fireplace didn’t go as smooth as it could have been. It states 10-15 working days but it actually took 25 days. The company gets around this by saying don’t instruct builders etc until the products arrive ( this is very unfeasible with builder timelines etc) maybe direct stoves should stay a more realistic time frame. When the fireplace arrived it had a damaged corner but as I had already missed my slot with the fitter by two weeks I couldn’t run the risk of never getting this fireplace fitted. The finished result is really nice but it was drama that could have been avoided.

Because many of our limestone fireplaces are made to order, and while we do aim to list the most accurate lead times possible, there can be unexpected factors in manufacturing and shipping which (on occasion) mean delay. The reason that our Dispatch team would recommend against booking installers until they have received any goods is to prevent potential disappointment and the possible need for rebooking. We do appreciate that this is ultimately at the customer's own discretion but we do feel that this is a worthwhile recommendation on our part given that no delivery time can be 100% guaranteed. Wonderful item perfect for us, but the wording regarding extra flue etc is not clear and the staff do not enquire about your set up to advise, which is a shame as it would have saved me having to re-order and pay extra delivery. Other than that I would have given a 5 star as the product is lovely.

As you will be aware, the website gives an option for "No Flue Kit Required - Self Supplied/Bespoke System" in addition to allowing the purchase of a standardised balanced flue kit. This is because many gas fitters prefer to either arrange the flue kit themselves or give customers a list of parts to build a quotation for a bespoke system through ourselves. In the event that you had queried your selection of this 'No Flue Kit Required' option, our sales team would have been happy to advise further and look into provision of any additional items.
