“The stove is OK but the liner is no use because it isn't twin walled, the register plate is too small and didn't have a hole for the pipe. So the free items weren't worth having.”

“We ordered a Hunter Herald 5 which arrived in perfect condition on our chosen delivery date. We had free delivery which meant that the driver would be leaving the stove at the kerb so we bought a pallet trolley to get it into the house - the driver helped us get it onto the trolley and we wheeled it into the right room. I'd say to be sure that you're prepared to move the stove into position if you didn't pay extra for the two-man delivery.”

“I'm anxious about buying stuff like this online but I was really impressed with the delivery, the fact it turned up in days and the quality of the wrapping. A slight fault was also fixed pretty much immediately with a replacement part. Would recommend to anyone.”

“My experience was very good, I got exactly what I ordered when expected. My biggest fear was the delivery but the stove was packed in a plywood box and strapped to a pallet and the driver from Palletline was extremely careful and helpful. Everyone at Direct Stoves was very helpful with my queries. I hate buying anything on the internet but my purchase from Direct Stoves was as good as it gets, although mine was a fairly straightforward order and I did not need to make any returns etc so cannot comment on that side of things.”

“Very nice looking fire, came on time and good delivery service. However when building had to adapt and change some of the hole centres as the ore drilled holes were no where near and also Poor communication as I sent 2 emails prior to buying the fire and still no reply”

“I can't say much about the stove as of yet as we are still waiting to be installed What I can say is the delivery of it was a sham, it was one guy delivering who wasn't capable of any manual, he took it off lorry and said the pallet wouldn't go across the shingle and so it was left at the front of drive for all to see. My husband near his 60"s had to get planks of wood and drag the fire himself it took him over an hour to get it to front door”

“Website easy to use, and a good array of products. We are very happy with the service, ordering to delivery to end product. Cannot fault the customer service, we had a slight issue with items not received, but one little phone call put everything right. And all along the way we were kept well informed. Thanks.”
