“I phoned your customer services and got an immediate response to my query and I was able to place the order there and then over the phone. Very efficient. The goods arrived a couple of days later - much quicker than the online delivery schedule. The goods were placed on my drive but Palletline did not knock on the door or require a signature. I caught up with the driver as he was leaving and queried this, but he said it wasn't necessary. I have since recommended Direct Stoves to a third party for price and efficiency of service.”

“I wasn’t aware of the home delivery, it says on the small print but I had no idea so when the delivery man arrived I was alone with a 2 year old and he wouldn’t carry the stove inside for me. He was also quite rude. Fires are nice though”

Hi Izzy, Thanks for your review. We're pleased to hear that you were pleased with the stove received overall. As part of the one man delivery service that we offer, and as per the delivery information outlined on our website, the driver should transport the pallet as close to the property as is safe and possible. This would be providing level ground with no steep slopes or gravel driveways and is due to the weight and size of many items. We do offer a two-man delivery service for instances where assistance may be required in transporting the goods inside, and would suggest that customers contact us for advice in terms of delivery whether there may be concerns or queries. This said, we are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our delivery partners and will pass on this feedback. “Great service start to finish from Julie and Dylan in office to Mark and Scott who fitted stove. Stove arrived ahead of time and installed very quickly. All queries and emails replied to same day . Highly recommended. Thanks.”

“brilliant stove. the carriage note specified a 7.5 ton lorry, but it arrived on an 18 ton lorry which could not get nearer than 100 yards from the house. the driver was as helpful as he could be, but did not have time/orders to help us beyond that. the stove was very heavy, and required all our ingenuity and a car to get it to the house, which took two hours.”

As part of the one man delivery service that we offer, the goods should arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine, though we do recommend that customers get in touch if they have any more precise requirements or restrictions. The driver would aim to transport the pallet as close to the property as is safe and possible, providing level ground with no steep slopes or gravel driveways. “We ordered an Ekol 11kw stove which, at the time of ordering was not readily available so we went on the back order list, after only a couple of weeks we were told a stove was available subject to delivery. This was easily arranged with the excellent Customer Service team and hey presto, a week later the stove was delivered. Considering the payment address and the delivery address were different I was expecting hassle but no, everything was handled quickly and in a thoroughly professional manner. Would I recommend? Most certainly yes!”
