I received the stove well packaged although I haven’t got it installed yet I opened it up and checked it out, well made and looks like it is all there it was ordered a few weeks ago and was told that it would be the middle of April but the delivery was brought forward , once I was informed that the order was ready it was promptly delivered.

As you'll be aware, the continuing high demand for stoves at present has meant extended lead times for a great many manufacturers, but we strive to try and get orders dispatched quicker where possible. The free one-man delivery service that we offer through our shipping partners is frequently helpful in this respect as well. So far I have had no issues. The stove was only installed last week so I have not required any aftercare. However I got the stove I wanted at a very good price, delivered free on time. I would use direct stoves again at this point in time.

Excellent service, good communication via email and delivered within a week of ordering. Just waiting for someone to fit it now - I ticked the box requesting this but as yet have not heard anything?

Buying my stove was easy and it was priced reasonably, i was kept informed about my delivery date.Those are the good points however your delivery driver was terrible.my stove arrived on the date given although late in the day, first words were don’t know if i can get it down my drive as it’s gravel.He did get it down my drive with ease and then left it there,when asked if he could help me put it inside he said no that’s not my job.now I’m left with a heavy stove outside and it’s getting late fortunately it was not raining.this attitude to customer service is disappointing so with regret would not recommend buying from you again.

Hi David, Thanks for your review. We were sorry to hear of this issues experienced with the delivery. As part of the free one-man delivery service that we offer through our shipping partners, the driver should transport the pallet as close to the property as is considered safe, providing that this would be even ground with no steep slopes or gravel driveways. This would be due to the weight and size of many items; we appreciate that the driver was able to navigate the gravel drive on this occasion but (as I'm sure you can appreciate) this is not always the case. I would also stress that we now offer a two-man delivery option for most of our stoves. This tends to be of interest for customers who might find it difficult to transport the stove inside the property themselves, and means that the couriers can safely place the stove inside a room of your choosing. Ordered our British made Arada stove on Sunday, it was delivered when we asked on the Friday of same week. Absolutely first class service would recommend without reservations.

Still not received my order , 1 month late & still waiting for delivery of my stove the stock position is inaccurate which is only made clear once you have paid, feel mislead & the poor communication hasnt helped, buyer beware !

Impressive customer service i.e. extremely helpful conversation over the phone where my order for a multifuel stove was sorted out as I was unable to complete my order online. The delivery was conducted and carried out effortlessly. My stove hasn't been installed as yet as I'm experiencing some installer-related issues. I will complete my full review when I'm warm and toasty.

The order was swiftly dispatched and arrived securely strapped to a pallet. One of the vermiculite panels inside the stove was damaged. The team at Direct stoves quickly got onto the manufacturer and a replacement was sent directly to my address. I also found the stove cheaper online and they gave me a refund for the difference.

Very pleased with service. Arrived very quickly. Also I had asked for a price match on 21st February. Had email to say this has been done. Although still awaiting refund. I know this takes a while to process. I'm extremely please with my fire. Many thanks.

We can see that our sales team had agreed to process a small discount against your order as a gesture of goodwill, and that this was issued on the 21st February. Refund times from there are ultimately dependent upon the account provider (i.e. the issuing bank) and so beyond our control. We were very pleased with our multi fuel burner. The quality is excellent and the delivery was exactly as you said it would be. We haven't tested it yet as the fitter can't do it until May. If you want to get back in touch when it's up and running we would be very happy to review it again, but we're sure by the standard of the build and having had wood burners in the past, that it will be good.
