Online purchase very easy and issue raised re a potential defect on the barbecue was dealt with quickly and professionally. Didn’t find the staff member in store particularly helpful when trying to view the product prior to online purchase.

We recently purchased a Broseley Canturbury electric stove from Direct Stoves in Bromsgrove. The showroom staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The whole ordering process was very straightforward and delivery was quick. Very pleased with the stove!

Hi. Just one complaint and that is that there was no information about the multi fuel kit that I bought as an extra . But reading the main manuel stated that the stove is not suitable for anthracite which is a very common fuel . I want to send the multi fuel kit back but it’s in now and only allowed to burn wood.

Helios eco stove perfect for me, my family and the house. Fitters really helpful and friendly, did a brilliant job. Only downside was the delivery company, no help whatsoever. Direct Stoves should use another company.

The package arrived exactly when I requested it , very well protected in a strong casing and i would recommend direct stoves to everyone if they want good service with no fuss .

Avoid and use a local dealer! Very poor service from start to finish. I ordered my stove on 22nd September and booked for a 2-man delivery on the website for the 4th October. I took the day off work so that I could be around. It got to 2pm and I had not heard anything, so I phoned direct stoves and was told that it had not even been shipped yet and I should not have been able to book a 2-man delivery on the website. I would receive a message the FOLLOWING WEEK so that I could book in a date, despite 4/10/2024 being the delivery date on my invoice! The stove finally arrived on 12th October and the 2-man delivery struggled to carry it into my house and left it next to where I wanted it, instead of in the fireplace (like was suggested on the website). When unpacking the parts, the Flue pipe had a large gouge front and centre, above the service door. The flue was also poor quality, misshape and paint flaking off everywhere. Tried to phone direct stoves customer service, but there was no answer and sent an email instead. I heard nothing until 17th, telling me that they're looking to send me another. I've told them not to bother as I've now picked up a cheaper, higher quality flue pipe from a local supplier. Annoyingly, the stove I ordered is now £400 cheaper in the sale. I've spent over £2k with this company and will never give them another penny.

Really helpful advice over phone. My issues are being pressurised over e-mail etc ("summer sales ending, last day" etc) so ordered the stove at 3am only to find that the price would have gone DOWN £20 if I had let the sale period lapse and not worken up in the night in a panic. Also the delivery guy has left me with a heavy IPP red pallet that I cannot take to the recycing centre and IPP are saying they are "currently unable to collect it" and that due data protection reasons (!?) they cannot arrange for someone else to collect it. Really frustrating and no where to turn on the pallet issue.

Regarding our website prices, while we do offer certain items at reduced prices in seasonal sales, the costs for individual products can also go up or down depending on infrequent supplier price changes. Any email communication would be to make customers aware of seasonal sales and we can only apologise for any frustration or inconvenience. In terms of delivery, we do advise that our one-man delivery service often involves pallet shipment due to the weight of certain products (especially stoves). We can only apologise that neither ourselves or the courier are able to offer a pallet recycling service at present.
