Our order arrived super quick, we haven't installed the stove yet so can't comment on how efficient it is but, all the parts were in the box undamaged.

Mixed experience. I was recommended a stove by my installer, so I purchased it online not paying too much attention to the product itself. What can do is review the experience with the company having placed the order online. I added the item to my basket, chose a delivery date and paid. All very simple and I was very impressed how quickly it could be delivered. Except that wasn't correct. Despite being able to pick a date, and then recieving an email that quotes the delivery date without any additional comment, it is in fact fictional. I didn't know this until I phoned them to query it and was told it was just my requested delivery date, and not a confirmation, and that I should wait for email confirmation first. Problem is the website nor the order confirmation state this, anywere, at all. So having chased the delivery I was told I should have waited to book installaiton until I got the burner and was advised I should cancel installation as it was not clear when the burner was arriving. Luckily, I didn't cancel installation because only the next day I got an email stating the burner was dispatched and the day after it arrived (only a week after my fictional wished delivery date, so not the end of the world). So in summary it needs to be made much much clearer that having chosen a date this does not at all mean that's when it can be delivered. Misleading and confusing. And surely boring for the customer support team to deal with.

We did have a communication problem with our delivery as the haulage company did not deliver on the date it was expected. But once Direct Stoves were told of the problem they chased the haulage company and resolved to our satisfaction

Just had a new wood burning stove fitted from direct stoves , looks amazingly had great advice when purchasing and the engineer fitted it with flue liner in a morning , superb job .. winter bing it on!

Ordered the outside log burner, arrived promptly on arranged date. Had small problem with glass cracking when first used. Replacement glass sent within days. Great customer services.

I was promised a delivery notification, however, this never happened and my stove was delivered with no notification. Worse yet, when I called this company to complain I was told someone would contact me, no-one did. I get better customer service from Zara for items that cost fraction of the price, considering the cost of the stove from this company. Shockingly poor service and I would not recommend Direct Stoves, not even to my enemies.

As you will be aware from the delivery email sent by our Dispatch team after purchase, standard one-man deliveries are generally on a 09:00-18:00 service: "if the depot has the facility, they will text you on the day and if you have not had a text in the morning it is likely that you will receive a text later as your goods might be on an afternoon run". If no delivery notification was received on the day then we can only apologise on behalf of our delivery partners. Customer service before I purchased the fire was faultless. Item needed returning , I couldn't speak to a person. Had to send pictures in of the fire. When they finally accepted I could return the fire I'm still waiting on a refund. I will never buy from this company again

Hi Anne, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for any inconvenience regarding the returns process. We can see that our Returns team had in fact contacted you to discuss the reason for the return and that a collection was booked in with a courier within two days of your request being received. As we're sure you can appreciate, our returns team does have to await receipt of the goods before we can process a refund. Notes on your order indicate that the item was received back to us at the end of last week and a refund then processed on the 16/9/24, so this was processed ASAP once in our warehouse. Refund times insofar as the funds appearing via the original payment method are then ultimately dependent upon the account provider and so beyond our control.
