Hi, Thanks for your review and for the positive feedback despite the issue with delivery. We're sorry to hear that the delivery was not made on the expected date. Our shipping partners do try to meet requested delivery dates as closely as we can, though this is ultimately dependent upon the courier in question and there are admittedly instances where it may be necessary to rearrange. Where there is a problem with delivery, we often recommend giving our dispatch team a call so that we can address any issues as quickly and completely as possible. “Speedy if not miraculous delivery, condition of the stove exceeds expectation, an excellent price and really helpful customer services (there was a missing gasket and it was replaced 3 days later) I can not fault them at all and would be happy to recommend”

“The stove was dispatched around 1 hour from ordering and it was delivered on the day requested. I ordered a Portway ARUNDEL model. The stove is great quality for the money so overall I’m very pleased. Would highly recommend. ( still waiting for the stove to be fitted so unable to comment on the use ability) .”

“Nice wood burner. The delivery man left it outside on a pallet on the drive - wasn't allowed to help me get it in the house. It weighs a ton! Managed to struggle it into the porch with a sack barrow then left it to the fitter and his Mate to get it in the correct room in the house. Now fitted, it looks brilliant.”

In terms of delivery, and as specified on our website, the drivers arranged through our free one-man delivery service are not insured to unpack or carry items into the house. This is due to the weight and size of many of our stoves. We currently offer two-man delivery as an option for many of our stoves, which would enable delivery into a room of the customer's choosing. Where this may be of interest and if there are any queries or concerns in terms of shipping, we generally recommend that customers contact us for more information. “I am pleased with my fires However I'm not happy with the Response from the shop or the Installation part I have complained about the quality of work on my fireplaces very little Response from anyone to Resolve this Thought I would get better from you I've had fires from you before and it was great I feel I'm being ignored 🙁”

Hi Angela, Thank you for your review. We were sorry to hear that you were not entirely happy with the installation, though it's good to hear that you were pleased with the stoves in question. Our colleagues in the servicing and installation company have been able to advise upon the complaint that was made, and we can see that an email was sent on the 20/6/23 which addressed your concerns in greater depth. To reiterate in brief, the work carried out would have been to ensure a safe and effective installation, with the size of the opening made for your stove having been as large as possible for the structural integrity of your chimney. Hearths and chamber lining boards supplied by ourselves were cut down on site, as is standard practice, again to ensure suitability for your installation. This was at the discretion of an experienced solid fuel fitter. We understand that there were a couple of problems with some of the materials received, though we would stress that a) you had agreed to retain one piece as received as you did not wish to wait for an alternative, and b) one of the fireplaces was ex-display and sold as seen. Goodwill gestures were made, including but not limited to the arranging of a technician at no cost to yourself, and following his site visit on the 17th June you had registered satisfaction with the work carried out. With the above in mind, we hope you will agree that effort has been made to address your concerns.
