Wow! What a great purchase (powder coated steel hearth plate), of which I was a little unsure. Would the plate bend/deform with the stove on top? Nope Was powder coating likely to be tough enough? Yes. Delivery was on a Monday afternoon, after ordering on Saturday night!?! Wow! To say I’m delighted with my purchase would be an understatement. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product or direct stoves.

A mixed bag, but ultimately poor service. The online store was very good and easy. Have spent nearly £2000 though that's where things went wrong. We arranged for delivery of the fire to be on a Friday when the builders were available to lift the fireplace into our house. That's because delivery teams do not deliver beyond a curb stone apparently. Instead they leave it for my partner to lift the stove, at double her weight and with a herniated disc in her back rather than assist. Easily avoided if delivered on the agreed date, only it was delivered and abandoned a day early. She was left to lift it herself as I'm away for 2 months on business. Appalling service. She is now in considerable pain and we were not even consulted about the change to the delivery date. Extremely unhappy.

Hi Matthew I'm very sorry if the delivery arrived a day early. Had you partner called us to advise the stove had turned up early we would've advise her to reject the delivery and we would've had the haulage company come back on the arranged delivery date.

Happy with the stove and installation, very disappointed with the fact I ordered a double door and then later was told there out of stock, poor customer service! Wouldn’t recommend

Hi Sam Hunter used to offer the stove you ordered as a double door stove. They discontinued the double door version and we removed the option from our web site. This option wasn't avaible from us or Hunter when you placed the order and our web site only advertised the single door option which you ordered on-line on the 3 February and we delivered on the 7th February.

Website easy to navigate, chose delivery date thinking it wouldn't be on time as I live at the top of Scotland stove turned up two days early, stove was well packed, looks and works great. Peanut 3 stove.

Delivery took longer than the advertised 48 hours. Be aware that the blanking plate is only a 800x400 galvanised plate and needs completely manufacturing - which you might not have tools to do. They sell cheap kits and you get what you pay for I guess.

A great company to deal with, straightforward, helpful and cheap. I knew which stove I wanted, u phoned discussed price and availability. I went for pickup from the warehouse, they confirmed it had arrived at the warehouse in a few days and ahead of time. I drove up and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The stove is well built , all parts arrived a day early , which i was very happy with. Just one slight niggle, which was dealt with at speed from the service team. The stove has not been fitted yet, so an updated review will be required. But so far , so good .

I ordered a Broseley Stove and found the outer body didn’t fit and that one of the bolt/nut that secures the feet was defective. I am still awaiting a resolution in that the manufacturer is to send out a replacement outer body stove. I would have preferred that the whole entire stove returned and a complete new one sent or reimbursed me completely. I also sent photos of the defective part. Who is to say that this new body unit will fit the existing electric fire unit. It is now 14 days since I placed the order. I’m told today that it will be another week before Direct Stoves receive the replacement part and that it will a few more days after that before it reaches me. To say that I am an unhappy customer is an understatement.

Fantastic service, everything delivered in tip top condition. Installed the stove, noticed the gloves were missing. Quick phone call and all resolved with gloves being delivered next day. Exceptional service

I placed an order with Direct Stoves and they bent over backwards to provide a service, I changed my mind twice, they altered the order to suit my requirements. Absolutely delighted with the entire process start to finish. Calling to order was quick, helpful and easy. Delivery was smooth and delivery driver really wonderful. Installation this weekend and have been told if I need any help or have a query, just to call. Brilliant client service Direct Stoves.

Price and product very good. Delivery took some time which is understandable in the current circumstances. My only criticism is that we were not kept up to date. However they responded very quickly to my emails enquiring about deliver dates so all in all a very good service. Would recommend them

We are very happy with our stove. The remote option is particularly convenient and the retained heat means that having it on for 40 mins for morning coffee serves for afternoon tea as well.

I bought an inset multi fuel stove and ilks as though it was made for my fireplace and even the man fitting was impressed both with the fire and with the price. Just one little problem the handle is very stiff and won’t turn fully round
