Competitive prices, and in stock. Delivery in two days, and everything required was included. Fitting took only a couple of hours and the fire worked as expected at the first attempt, even though the fitter had never worked on your brand previously, but had no trouble and simply followed the fitting instructions supplied. I would recommend your gas fires to any one, as will the fitter.

First class. Ordering etc was easy. Dismantling the old fireplace including gas capping etc occurred with minimal mess. The fire was delivered as expected and the fire installed efficiently, cleanly and clearly.

The fireplace is very difficult to use, and the lighting procedure is exceptionally difficult . It is not possible to reduce the heat until 30 minutes has passed at the high level, which is often not wanted. There are no pointers indicating which position is 1 to 6. Also the installer did not take away either the old fireplace nor any of the large boxes which came with the new fireplace.

Hi Margaret, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the fire in question. To clarify in terms of the requirement for a period at max heat, this is in order to warm up the chimney and allow for a proper 'pull' on the flue. The period of time recommended by different manufacturers may vary between models, but virtually all gas fires will require some period of time at maximum heat for the same reason. In terms of the fitting, the installers recommended by our showrooms or the installation team would not advertise the disposal of pre-existing fires or fireplaces, as they do not typically have the refuse licenses required to do so. We can only apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Excellent sales team, surveyor and gas fitters Only negative was left with all the rubbish to dispose of eg flue, bricks etc which I hadn,t expected

Many of the installers recommended by ourselves do not have the waste disposal licenses required for taking away old flue components, bricks etc., and would generally advise of this in any installation quotation. Always trying to get extra money saying we needed a liner when we didn’t . Nice fire place and surround just not into them trying to make extra cash when you’ve spent a decent amount on the fire and surround

For gas appliances, whether or not a flex liner may be required is often dependent upon the item chosen and the condition of the chimney. We can see that on this occasion a chimney sweep had inspected your chimney and determined that a liner was not required and that the order was processed without. The sales team will have priced up a gas liner kit for you to consider ahead of inspection so that you had a good picture of potential cost in case this was needed. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff in the store while choosing the fire. Had to wait awhile for delivery and fitting but when the 2 engineers came they were quick,cleaned up after themselves and explained everything about the fire and how to use it correctly. Found everything was dealt with easily from start to finish so great service

It a nice fire all I hope is it lasts a lot longer than the last one that it replaced it is the same model that I had we had it two and a half years and it had in that time been used for about eight months out of the two and half years very disappointing It has got a sealed unit watch this space.

Not the fire I ordered it was n old fire which hadn’t been updated on line ended up back wards and forwards about twigs and glass that sat in fire bed not happy didn’t contact us to say it was arriving if we hadn’t been home when it was delivered I don’t know what would have happened

Poor service, delivery times on website were inaccurate and quoted 2 weeks and they needed chasing constantly and even then it took 9 weeks to arrive …
