“Customer service (Leanne) was very good. The people who fitted the new chimney pot were very quick, efficient and pleasant. The fire fitter Phil was a very nice chap and has done a good job fitting my new fire. Very pleased overall.”

“One slight hicup Direct Fireplaces asked me to nominate a delivery day :- Tuesday 13 th Feb 2024. The fire arrived without warning :- Wednesday 7 th Feb. Fortunately I was in at the time. Product arrived in good order. No problem.”

“The fire I ordered was out of stock however I was told there was one available in the warehouse that had been a cancellation. Paid then had to chase delivery to be told on inspection the trim was damaged & they would have to order a new trim. Waited, then had to chase again. Finally arrived with me and yes trim still damaged. I doubt they ordered the new trim! Either that or unlucky to have two damaged trims. Paid nearly £800 for what I thought would be a brand new fire. Due to all the hassle & paying a fitter, we’ve left it fitted with a damaged corner. Would not buy from again.”

We can confirm that a new trim and fret were ordered for the fire in question and can only apologise that the new frame had also arrived with damage. “Direct fireplace had exactly the fireplace I was looking for, paid on line, came 3 days later ,but when delivery man was carring it to my home from the van , the box was damaged and a hole on top and side, had to decline as the box was damaged, and not sure if all the parts were damaged too. Contacted direct fires who ordered another fire , but this time had to wait 14 days for replacement. This time when the delivery man carried it to my home from the van ,parts were dropping out the bottom and a trail of parts were on the road! again declined delivery . I requested a refund . I know things can happen! . But twice! , I needed a fire so went elsewhere. It’s a shame this happened, but packaging wasn’t good.”

“Absolutely excellent service, ordered on line which was relatively easy, order acknowledged immediately, delivery date given and fire delivered on time. Fire it self is excellent our fitter said it was great quality. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.”
