“I am pleased with the look of the fireplace and the work undertaken by the fitters who were hard working, tidy and pleasant. I have however noticed some damage to the chimney breast in the kitchen caused when they were making the space in the wall in the living room. I was also surprised to be left with all the rubble to dispose of. It would have been helpful if it had been sorted into bags of rubble, plasterboard and general waste as the tip will only allow rubble to be tipped into that skip so they had to be sorted before getting rid of!!”

“I ordered a Dimplex Danville Optimyst Electric Fire, from the Bromsgrive store, with which I am extremely pleased. The fire, in an antique brass, fitted my fireplace absolutely perfectly. The only problem I had was that I was advised to have a full spacer, which was not required. I telephoned to pick it up, but was told no, as the would cost would be more than the £ 35.00, cost of the spacer. I then had to ask my daughter to take me over to the Bromsgrove store, 20 miles away to obtain a refund.”

It's also good to hear that you were pleased with the efficiency of the installation service. We can only apologise that the fitters were unable to take away the old fireplace. Our installation team vets qualified fitters up and down the country to ensure good coverage and quality service, but unfortunately not every engineer has the waste disposal license necessary to offer removals. “Great experience with Direct Fireplaces. Delivery was slightly later than advertised due to the Portuguese supplier shipping delay, but staff were extremely helpful when contacted providing an expected delivery date to them which was met and they delivered to me 2 days later. Limestone Fireplace was well packaged, arrived undamaged and was exactly as described on their website. Very satisfied customer.”

“Faz looked after us when we visited the show room in Cheadle. We had a few complications due to the depth of the outside flu but Fax and the staff at Direct Fireplaces were helpful in helping us select the most suitable fire. It is now fitted and we are extremely pleased. Fitting service was excellent.”
