Although the fire is brilliant, the delivery was a total mess up. We arranged a day for delivery. But it came a day early and no one was in. We then had to arrange for someone to be in to receive the fire , the next day. So not happy with it.

Our dispatch team had requested delivery of the fire on the 29/11/24 as per your preference, and it appears that the courier had then loaded the parcel for an earlier date. they were recommended to me by another satisfied customer. I found them to be knowledgeable, proactive and efficient. Communication was fantastic which is rare these days. The fire I thought I wanted was not the one that fitted my needs. They listened to my concerns over arthritis with switches and accessability. I have now had the one they recommended fitted and it is marvellous and it was cheaper than the one I had originally had in mind. This was the first store where I felt the staff knew their fires. An excellent experience and I would certainly recommend them

Apart from mix up with delivery Fire not flush to wall as requested. Blemish on right pillar (please see photos) Otherwise a beautiful fireplace

We visited the showroom and had very helpful advice from the staff. We came away, looked and chose online and went back to order from the showroom. Delivery was very quick as promised and we are now very pleased with our product.

Before we ordered the fire we paid for a survey to check that the fire would fit, this took serveral weeks so we could notget the fire fitted in August but October. The 2 men that fitted the fire seemed experieced and tidy. My main problem is that we chose the fire to heat the room but most of the heat goes up the flue and not into the room The controls are not very responsive and I am unhappy with the fire performance . I would like an expert to visit the house to check the fires performance

We can see that you had, via the showroom, agreed to a survey in order to ensure suitability of your chosen fire for your property. As we're sure you can appreciate, this necessitates engineer availability for the survey and then the subsequent installation. Our fitting team at Direct Heating Services had looked to book these with you as soon as they could and can only apologise for any inconvenience. The item which you purchased is in fact among the most efficient and highest output open-fronted fires that we offer, at 73.7% listed efficiency and 4.61kW approx. output. As we're sure you can appreciate, there are many factors that can affect performance including (but not limited to) weather conditions and the location of your property and flue. If you wished to speak to a gas safe fitter regarding the performance of the fire, we would suggest emailing your order details to our fitting team at servicing@directheatingservices.com and they should be able to advise further. My Experience with Direct Fireplaces was excellent. From going into the showroom, which was a very straightforward, informative, visit. My appointments were arranged at the time, and all appointments happened exactly as planned, well done Dillon at the showroom. The fittings was fast and excellent and the Fire Place looks great.

I ordered a gas fire which she have been delivered within 3-5 days of ordering, 5 weeks later and a lot of emails it was delivered, they cannot guarantee a delivery date

Hi Christopher, Thanks for your review. We are sorry for any delay in receipt of the gas fire. As you mention, the fire selected at checkout would normally be a 3-5 working day lead time but on this occasion, the supplier had fallen out of stock of some necessary components. We can see that our Dispatch team had provided a revised estimate on the lead time once notified. Unfortunately, and while significant delays are infrequent, they can and do occur on occasion due to factors outside of our control. We do appreciate the inconvenience caused and can only apologise for the length of time between ordering and receipt. If we can offer any further advice or assistance then please do let us know.
