“Purchased a bumper protector for my VW Passat Estate and its a perfect fit and look good therefore very pleased with this item. My only criticism with Direct Car Parts is the time it took to dispatch the part, a small thing perhaps but I would definitely use this company again.”

“I purchased a part for a car but made an error in the order . I had to contact Direct Car Parts for a return ref that was issued fairly quickly but when I posted it back the cost was three times the cost of delivery using the same carrier ie parcel force , surly something could be done re postal charges where goods have to be returned.”

Hi Raymond, Unfortunately there is no cheap way to return goods especially when you're offshore. We're sorry that you're unhappy with the cost but we did send the item that you ordered. The cost for us to send a courier to collect the goods would have been over £20 which I think would be considerably more than you paid to return the item in this case. (There are two surcharges with a return of this type; 1 because you're in Northern Ireland and 2 a third party collection charge) Kind regards, Simon.

“Perfect part but took too long to deliver. Free delivery always seems to be the slow part and makes you wonder if paying for delivery is best even though your spend is enough to qualify for free delivery. Maybe the comany should look at the free delivery speeds .”

The delivery price does not affect the service. The item that you ordered was sent on a 48 hour tracked service. The delay was due to the factory lead time for the item that you purchased. We do state on our website that this item is 'Special Order' and has a delay due to the production of the part. We only offer next day delivery service if we have the item in stock so you wouldn't have the option to speed the delivery up in this case.
