“Excellent conversion of old 8mm film to digital, no issues, reasonable price, I'd use them again (if I ever find those other films!). Great value ticked all the boxes as promised.”

“My vhs tapes were converted quickly and the results look to be of the appropriate quality. I did have a few problems with organising the tapes being picked up but the email exchange was helpful and courteous.”

“It has been great to see our old cine films again after many years. The only disappointment is that our Agfa cine camera allowed me to take single-frame shots on occasions but they are now viewable on the DVD.”

“I sent off my videos and fairly quickly got the whole lot downloaded onto a memory stick. It was a good service. They offered to collect the videos but I sent them myself which turned out to be a lot more expensive, next time I would use their service. After seeing the videos it would have been good to have an editing service but DC do not offer this service. Overall. Very good.”

“Lovely to be able to watch these again after so many years. I would have given 5 stars but the '93 tape came after the '94 tape so I am having to tell all my children to skip to the second one and then go back to the first. Otherwise, very pleased”

“Digital converters were quick and we've enjoyed watching the family videos on DVD. The DVDs have good controls so you can scan through content. One suggestion might be to charge by the minute - we had several tapes to digitise and some had a lot of content and others very little, so a flat rate charge doesn't quite fit.”

“Really good service with the ability to see the progress of the transfer from the old media to the new. I asked them to transfer one video onto DVD. The One video came as three VOB files on the DVD (each around 30 minutes long. Not sure why this was but easy enough to combine the 3 files into one to make the film complete again. I would have given 5 stars if I receive the film complete on the DVD.”

Hi Chris, Thanks for the review of our service :) This is just how our DVD making software works (So that you can skip between chapters, or sections of the video if required for easier navigation through the video). If you play the DVD, rather than open it to view the files, the video will play seamlessly without any visible breaks in content. All the best, Team DC

“Found Digital Converters via Facebook. I rang to discuss my requirements (converting VHS Tapes), good information supplied, kept informed of progress, i.e. receipt of my "precious" tapes. Quality of my returned digital MP4 Files, on dropbox, excellent. Four stars only refects slightly extended time for conversion over the Xmas period. Delivered product excellent”

“The transfer of tapes was very quick and tapes returned quickly, however some of them were quite dark , thought they could have lightened them a bit more , however I have loads more that I will be sending to them as I was happy with the service”

“The cine film conversions are very good. I got both a DVD and a memory stick. While the website is very simple and easy to understand, it misses some key information - the formats that are provided and how the reels will be labelled and ordered. It would be good if this information could be added to a FAQ on the website while not overcomplicating the main text. The only slight issue is that the DVD reels are out of order. I labelled each reel, with a prefix 01, 02 etc. The labels were used, but the order wasn’t followed. I have changed the names on the memory stick so they are ordered correctly, but I can’t change them on the DVD.”
