“My son loved his free trial at Diddikickes. We signed him up and ordered his football kit on the Sunday, it arrived on Tuesday! I was really happy it arrived so quickly and he was excited to wear it the following week. He also loves his new football, bag and sticker chart.”

“I just wanted to get in touch to praise some of the coaches at the Carr Mill class in St Helens. Daryl Saunders, Amy McDonald and Eve Ashcroft have coached my son Eliot for just over a year and they have been brilliant with Eliot from the very first day. Eliot joined the mids group initially as a shy 3 year old and we have now finished our last class with a very confident, energetic and joyous 4 year old who is ready to join a football team. A large part of this development is down to the support that Eliot has received from these 3 wonderful coaches and the attention, affection and enthusiasm that they show. Daryl, Amy and Eve are an absolute credit to Diddikicks and they deserve to be recognised for how well they train the children to not only play football and have fun, but to also teach them discipline and how to focus on instructions. There will be a moment in every training session where I will see one of the coaches take a little bit of time to help Eliot and I can see how much that time means to my son. We are moving on to join a local football club but we will always think of Diddikicks Carr Mill as Eliot’s first team.”

“I think that it is far too complex for 2.5 to 3.5 year olds. Too many instructions instead of just letting them find their feet and play with the ball. Games with rules that are too much. Needs to be simpler and coach needs to have more confidence to make the room quiet.”

I'm sorry to hear that you found our classes too complex for the age group. Our curriculum has been designed to cater to the developmental stages of children, blending football skills with early numeracy, fine and gross motor skills, colour recognition, and turn taking. We aim to make each session not only fun but also educational for the children. However, we appreciate that every child is different, and your comments will be reviewed by our senior coaching team to assess this weekend's session plans. Your point about the coach's confidence in managing the room is also well taken and will be addressed through additional training. I can see that you have re-added yourself to the waiting list following your free trial session with a view to joining again in the new year. We hope you have a better experience next time around. “I would just like to say the coaches at the Treeton stadium are a credit to Diddi. My son Jaxon can be a bit of a handful in the aspect of he has a looooot of energy who and is very easily distracted, but when his mind is in the game he can really do whatever is set. They never give up on him and give him lots of encouragement to do the tasks set, they try so hard to distract his concentration from everything else going on in the room and focus on the activity. As parents we dread Football Saturdays because we never know how it’s going to go but they take away a lot of the stress and it gives us the perseverance to continue attending each week.”
