“I would firstly like to thank Matt Mitchell, who works for Destination 2. Who I have had the absolute pleasure to deal with. He is an absolute credit to Destination 2 and a perfect example of how to deal with customers. When I phoned Destination 2 this morning, I was extremely worried. As I had received a call informing me the hotel I had booked and paid for, were not able to accommodate me for the full duration of my stay. To say I was perplexed is an understatement. After speaking to Matt for a couple of minutes, he worked his magic and explained that I could stay in my desired hotel for 11 of the 18 nights booked but unfortunately would have to stay in a different hotel and location for the remaining 7 nights. Although disappointed, as I really wanted this hotel because I have stayed here before and know the area. Matt made the inconvenience seem bearable and not the disaster I imagined. He informed me that he would sort the details out and call me back at an agreed time, which he did. AMAZINGLY when he phoned back. He had not only got me into my preferred accommodation for the full stay but somehow managed to get me Upgraded. I really really do appreciate what he has done. I was really worried but Matt was SO professional and definitely went the extra mile. It has been a long time since I have had, or heard of anyone receiving customer service to this high a standard anywhere. Again I would like to thank Matt Mitchell for a job brilliantly done. He is an absolute credit to Destination 2. He is an example of how to deal with customers and people in general.”
