“I was a little unsure when I first applied - only ten pounds? Seems too good to be true. But I needed to change my name to qualify for estrogen through the gender dysphoria clinic. The form was simple to fill out and it turned up at my house a few days later with clear instructions. It was easy enough to get someone to witness the deed poll, and so far my bank, doctor, dentist and council have accepted with no questions asked. So yes, I have had no problems what so ever. I didn't get any additional copies made as I was short of cash, but if you have to change your drivers' license, passport, etc, then it is probably a good idea to get a couple more made.”
