If I could leave no stars I would. I've never had a problem with an insurance company before only with these! They cancelled my insurance without letting me know and demanding a payment for the cancellation even though I provided everything they asked for! The staff are rude especially the manager! I would never insure my Vehicles with these again.

Awful customer service. I cancelled my policy with them, made a payment for this and they referred me to a debt collection agency! Would not recommend at all as when I called to ask about this I was placed on hold and got no explanation.

Got a quote off these guys and they were the cheapest option apart from a another company a had never heard of with a higher deposit so i went with Debenhams thinking they would be a reputable company due to having Debenhams brand name. After paying my deposit and everything looking like a smooth process, i stated i had 1 years no claims which i did have. When i uploaded this document as soon as i received my no claims from my previous company i received an email 6 minutes after the upload that my policy is due to be cancelled within 7 days due to a discrepancy on my no claims document. Meaning after the upload, receiving the email notification, opening my account, reading the document and then having the time to send me the cancellation email must of meant they looked at my no claims bonus document for no longer than 30 seconds before deciding to cancel my policy. I called them up and it was a foreign women with a bad attitude who answered and told me that theres a discrepancy with my no claims as theres a note on my no claims that states for information purposes only and has no effect on my no claims bonus and it is none fault. The reason this was there was because i called my insurance company because a women’s child opened her car door and hit the side of my door but there was no claim made and no repair was done and it was a minimal little scratch that i repaired myself with a touch up pen for £4 in Halfords. I only told my insurance company because me and the woman had a discussion about what had happened. After the first initial call with the first female at Debenhams about it, after going round and round in circles trying to get it through to her empty head, she told me i need to get proof it was no claim and no repairs were done. So after about 6 gruelling hours on the phone getting passed from department to department at my previous insurance i managed to get email proof that it was none fault no work was done and it was strictly information purposes only. I called back and it was a different foreign girl this time who couldn't understand my situation and said that even this document is not good enough. After about 20 phone calls and numerous hours wasted getting no where, i finally decided to cancel it myself and after my deposit of £140 and 3 days of insurance they are saying i am entitled to £50 refund which i am still waiting for. Avoid this company, it is shocking and just wants your money. I will never step foot in a Debenhams store again after the stress this company has caused me.

Avoid this insurance company, worst customer service, women on the phone was raising her voice whilst explaining why I had been charged over £425+, she made no absolute sense, nor did she justify why the company stole that much money from my account for one month, worst insurance company in the world, they are only there to suck your money like leeches. I didn’t get a single penny back, instead I had to pay them £150 for cancellation, the cancellation was done by them in 18 days after taking out the policy. The company will try and take as much money from customers that are leaving their company, avoid at all cost!

Absolutley shocking. Enquired about canceling policy early due to car not starting and was told I would have to pay 230.00 which is more than what was remaining on the 4 months left on policy. I said to forget it and I would just pay rest of policy and they said no as I "sold the car" and cant have a policy for car I dont have. I replied I did have the car and certainly hadnt sold it as it's not worth anything and to listen back to the recorded conversation the operator talked over me and was extremely rude and said my policy is now cancelled, I reiterated I didnt want to cancel and he wouldn't listen. I had only enquired for a price to cancel. The customer service is AWFUL!!

Awful company. Avoid at all costs. Paid for a years insurance. Had to cancel 2 months before due date due to selling the car. Not only do I lose out on the years no claims but I had to pay back £77 pounds in fees on car insurance that I had paid a year for up front at a cost of £120. So not only do you get nothing back for paying up front and having months left but they take (steal) a huge amount from you. Complete greedy company taking advantage of peoples situations. No doubt will get a standard message back saying to contact them but nothing will get done otherwise they would not rip people off in the first place. Customer service the worst. Terrible phone manners and condescending

Avoid avoid avoid, shocking customer service. Charged £75 to cancel insurance then £520 to cancel through the credit company, absolute daylight robbery. Staff have no idea what they're talking about yet still argue. Online portal is the most useless I have ever come across with car insurance. I will never use them again and now happy I'm not insured with them. Spend a little extra for a decent insurance company. Could only imagine how bad they would be having to claim with them.

We have paid 900 pounds for the Debenhams car insurance and all I have received from them was a text message from a no-reply-to number. Would expect at least an email with a copy of policy and info how to login to my customer account. Now trying to get this information from them but it is a nightmare to get through on their helpline. Definitely not recommended.

The customer service staff when spoken… The customer service staff when spoken to felt condescending, only felt like this when speaking to the female staff, they need to be taught basic customer skills or find another job. I Had cancelled my car Insurance with them, they charge a ridiculous fee of £75 for cancellation plus £8.30.Furthermore they charged me for one whole month all together the cost to cancel my policy was £344.76 absolutely ridiculous, i had to make 2 payments because the first payment never went through as their staff do not know how to do their job as soon as you start mentioning we need to speak to a manager they seem to resolve your issue which could not have been solved before.

Worst insurer I have ever used! The customer services are rude, I’ve spoken to several including the manager, they interrupt you, raise their voice and standard answer to everything is ‘computer says no’ They insist you hang up and use the online service only for the website to fail. I have made in excess of 20calls to them in the last 2days and still no resolution. This was only to make a simple amendment.. god help you if you need to claim!

Awful "customer-service" advisors. Woman on the phone wouldn't let me finish a sentence and was just talking over everything I said. Completely unhelpful and just wanted to be right/argue. Would have never used this firm if I knew I would have to speak to people like this. Had no clue what I was trying to say because I wasn't allowed to explain! I never leave reviews either!

The policy is great but the "customer service" advisors talk over every sentence you ATTEMPT and then wonder why they don't understand what you're trying to say. So patronising, irritating and so rude. Don't think I managed to finish a whole sentence after an hour spent on the phone.
