“I was very disappointed by the service. When i remortgaged the agent explained the process. I stated that time was of essence I was concerned that it would not complete n time. I explained that I had an alternative from my existing lender and If I did not complete y certain time I would be paying 2time the rate which was about £800 pounds more per month. The agent checked came back and assured me of completion by Xmas 2019. I did not complete until feb 2020. And that was a lot of chasing. The agent did not own the process .chased the solicitor only when I complain thereafter it goes quite again. When it finnally completed 2 months later than agreed and about £1600 poorer . I did not get a discount nor an apology, rather I got the standard congratulation letter and a notification that the were deducting their fees. It’s a zero star for misleading, if they have zero control over the time it takes to complete then the have no business ensuring anybody. Zero for not chasing on my behalf and zero for not apologising at the end and reducing or cancelling their fees in light of the circumstance.. I hope this helps others understand the limitation of DDF LTD.”
