“I tried to order over the phone but I now know you have to order online. it would be nice to order over the phone as you can ask questions and get help if you need. The person I spoke to on the phone was however very helpful and directed me to where I needed to be.”

“I order lots of sizes of lamp rings and communication is always good. Products are high quality and they arrived well packaged. Delivery times are slightly longer than some well know shopping sites but I would prefer to order from Dannells and know I’m going to have a good product at really reasonable prices.”

“So very pleased to find this tool for sale..and the delivery was quick. Too many times it's only the USA that have things like this, they may be cheaper, but the postage and customs costs are ridiculous. Well done Dannells”

“Very disappointed to find that paying for next day delivery doesn’t mean next day delivery. If you read the very small print right at the bottom of all the Ts and Cs you’ll find that after they’ve made up the delivery which will take 2-3 days they then ship it next day. Not what I paid for at all and not what I’ve ever experienced from any other company. Definitely feel I was conned there.”

“I recently bought a lovely scarf which I thought would make some great lampshades. Having never made any before I searched online and found the Dannells website. I decided to go big to start with - a 60cm drum shade - and I am very pleased with it. I have also made two matching lampshades for my bedside tables from the remainder of the scarf and I still have enough fabric left for a second 60cm shade, which I will be making when the new ring set and panel arrive tomorrow. I watched the "how to" video - which was easy to follow and I am still a bit surprised at how well they turned out. I would warn against using delicate fabrics that fray easily (my scarf fabric did) but the video does mention this. My only mini gripe is that delivery takes a bit too long and I would much prefer having the option of Royal Mail delivery DPD for all of my purchases (not just the smaller items) as the DPD costs are double that of Royal Mail. The delivery timescale for my 3 orders to date: 5 days, 8 days and 6 days.”
