“Recently purchased a custom cut lampshade from the "design your own page". Used the Dannells video for instruction which made it a simple pleasurable experience. Amazing system which allows you to use your imagination and creativity to produce a unique design. I would highly recommend the whole process .”

“I recently bought components from Dannell’s for my first attempt at making a lampshade with my own fabric. I didn’t have much of an idea of what I needed so I telephoned your company to help me with my order. The lady that helped me (I think her name was Diana) was truly exceptional, she talked me through all the bits that I needed and I ordered what she suggested. The parts came very quickly and very well packaged. I couldn’t wait to get started on my lampshade and I have completed it. Wow! I'm so pleased with it. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a lampshade from a shop again. Thankyou Dannell's”

“The kits themselves are great. My issue is with the packaging. I recently ordered 5 kits each of 2 different sizes, having used the kits a few times before. The box they arrived in was absolutely vast! Each kit was in a separate box each with a plastic tool, instructions and double sided tape on a plastic reel. Plus a couple of empty boxes to fill the gaps. Really the rings could have all been in one box. One set of instructions, one plastic tool and one long roll of tape, etc. Extremely wasteful”

“I ordered the wrong size print as I couldn't see the size I needed, but asked if Dannell's would be able to provide a print a 20mm lampshade. Within 24 hours I had a reply from Paul Dowling asking whether I'd intended to order the 40mm print, and attaching an example of how my design would look on a 20mm print. He also checked whether I was sure if I wanted to use the image I'd supplied as it was very low resolution. When I confirmed the size and image, Paul emailed back to let me know that he'd processed a refund as the 40mm cost £6.60 more. It's so refreshing to find a company that provides such excellent service. Thank you to Paul and the team at Dannell's.”
