“The children had a fantastic time. We managed to fit all 8 classes into the school day. The boys enjoyed forming the dragon and the girls loved twirling the umbrellas! Thank you Leigh.”

“The African dance workshop was truly amazing. Our dance teacher was so friendly and knowledgable. She involved all the children which were of very different abilities. The children learnt a full dance routine and even left school trying to teacher their parents. A very memorable session.”

“Booking process was very easy and convenient. Any questions I asked were answered in a quick and helpful manner through email. The workshop was of good content and we really enjoyed all the resources and being able to use them within the dance. Resources as in music and a music system being brought was also very helpful. Everything ran smoothly and felt I was given all the information and event overview beforehand which was helpful.”

“Laura held sessions with classes across the day. She is such an inspiration and so enthusiastic - a delight to have in our school. Children talked about her last visit for Commonwealth day but they enjoyed the Chinese New Year dance day celebration even more because of the added props. All year groups had great results, producing dances that progressed in difficulty according to age. We have already booked for World Bool Day and children are already looking forward to learning with Laura again.”

“The children had an amazing time exploring the movements and music of African dancing. From 3-year-olds to 11-year-olds, they were all thoroughly engaged and loved the experience. Even the more reluctant children got involved and were so excited about the event. Leigh was fantastic with all the children and was brilliant in her expectation, communication and manner with the different age groups. The whole school assembly at the end of the day gave the children the opportunity to showcase what they had learnt. They were so proud of themselves and each other. A reception pupil said ' I nearly cried happy tears, the other classes were so good!'. The impact of the day has left a lasting impression. Children are enthused. It has increased the number of children attending our dance club.”

“I thought it was great. Natalie was really good with the children and her behaviour management was really good. The children loved it and it appealed to ALL of them, not just the girls or the boys. The routine was broken down into small chunks to make it easy for the children to remember. I wouldn't have changed anything.”

Beautiful props and very convenient to bring own sound system. But not differentiated enough to suit our younger children. We needed less talk and more dance!”
