“Fantastic morning of Dance for Year 2. They are currently studying the UK as a cross-curricular topic. Having the opportunity to learn some Welsh, Scottish and English dancing was an absolute treat for them. The teacher was fantastic, she arrived early, set everything up and kept the children fully engaged and entertained. I was also impressed by the input of facts about the country she taught them before starting each dance.”

From the minute they entered the session, Amy captured their excitement, engaged everyone in the dance and they all achieved a brilliant performance at the end. “We decided to ask Dance Days to join us on our European Languages Day to focus on a cultural interests of Spain. We had 3 KS1 classes and 4 KS2 classes take part; purely due to time constraints and fitting more classes into the day. Our Flamenco dancer, Jasmine, kept all the moves manageable but still challenged the children. This enabled the classes to create an affective routine by the end of their session. There were smiles, laughs and lots of fun throughout - from all the age groups. Our children were able to see another cultures love and style of a different dance to what they are used to.”

“Dance Days provided two outstanding dance classes for our students, one in Flamenco and one in Brazilian Samba. The students had a wonderful time, did things that were out of their comfort zones and some gained enough confidence that they actually performed some of the Samba at our celebration assembly at the end of the week. Jo is an excellent teacher, teaching at the pace of the less proficient students whilst still challenging those who are capable and enthusiastic dancers. The Samba proved to be more popular than the Flamenco but everyone, staff and students alike, were enthusiastic throughout the day. The sessions were run during the August heatwave so I was particularly impressed with students' engagement across the sessions. We look forward to the next time!”

“The Gavotte and French Afrobeats workshops were amazing. The music selection was perfect for our Year 9 MFL activity day - the French Afrobeat tracks were spot-on. Julie was fantastic at engaging the students - explaining the moves, checking students could do it- and the teachers particularly enjoyed seeing some students who are normally quiet, or who don't always engage, turning out to be the star performers of the workshop. It's our second time with Dance Days and would definitely use again - booking is easy and reliable.”

“Today we had our 'Dance Day' with the wonderful Holly. The whole day was very easy to organise from start to finish and was exactly what we asked for. Holly understood the assignment and delivered it 100% even in the heat. The Dance Day team contacted me before the event to check the timetable and what we wanted. The Artist arrived nice and early to set up. The children were engaged all day learnt lots of new skills which they were keen to show off. Holly was kind and caring towards them, ensuring that they understood the importance of having a break and why they needed to keep hydrated! They all went off at the end of the day telling their parents about Holly and the fun that they had had. Thank you Dance Days, I'm sure we will be working with you again soon!”
