“These were excellent workshops that gave the children not only an insight into how the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac were chosen, but then gave them the opportunity to learn and perform the Lion Dance and Temple dances. The children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and we would highly recommend these to everyone.”

“The children enjoyed both session that we had, KS1 were doing Chinese New Year and KS2 were doing 1940's inspired dance. All years had a thoroughly enjoyable time and were talking about how much fun they had. Darren was amazing with the children and they all listened to everything he had to say. Will definitely be using them again.”

“The Chinese dance workshop was an absolute hit with the EYFS children! Maisie was incredibly fun and engaging throughout the session, creating an atmosphere full of energy and excitement. She brought the cultural aspects of the dance to life in a way that was both accessible and entertaining for the little ones. The children were captivated from start to finish, eager to try out the dance moves and immerse themselves in the experience. Maisie did a brilliant job of ensuring everyone felt included, encouraging the children to express themselves while also teaching them about the traditions and movements behind the dance. It was clear that the children were having a fantastic time, with big smiles on their faces as they danced along. Overall, it was a wonderfully enriching experience that not only entertained but also broadened the children's cultural awareness. We can't wait for the next workshop!”

“Our school had an excellent experience with Dance Days. As part of our Chinese New Year celebrations we booked the Chinese dance workshop for the whole school. From reception to year six everyone child was able to take part through the clear and well delivered instructions and had great fun. The challenge was perfect and the props brought added to the excitement and experience for all. Our Dance Days instructor was fantastic with the children. “Our Chinese Dance Day was for our nursery and 2 Reception classes. The nursery loved it as we split them into two more manageable groups of 15 therefore eliminating any waiting time. Our Reception classes were larger groups so therefore had more 'down time' whilst waiting for others to 'Have a go'. The nursery children were keen to repeat the dance when we got back to class although they were a little disappointed that we did not get to see the dragon in action. Prompt arrival, lovely relevant props and very good management of the group.”

“We had a member of dance days in with us to help celebrate our school's 90th birthday. Julie worked with all classes from Pre-Nursery (two year olds) up to year 6. She taught a different dance style with each class to fit in with the decade they were learning about. All the children and staff said what a wonderful time they had in the dance workshop. We would absolutely use dance days again.”

“Amazing experience from start to finish. We found Dance Days online whilst searching for a dance company who could join our EYFS stay and play session which was linked to Diwali. The compancy was prompt in thier response and booking and very accomadating to our wishes. We wanted something very specific and to fit in with our already busy morning of event. Jasmine led the session. She was fantastic! She led 3 session; 2 for children in nursery and reception and thier parents, and a shorter session for our onsite 2 year provision. The hall was so busy, but it was wonderful to see parents joining thier children and fully embracing the session. A wonderful, rich experience for our children. We had so much lovely feedback from our parents: 'the dance was amazing, we can't wait to come in again' 'I had so much fun! I enjoyed it more than my daughter' 'It made me want to start dancing again'”
