“This has been my second purchase from Dance Direct and just like the first, their service was excellent. I bought Basilica's vegan split sole ballet shoes on both occasions. My first pair I bought in late December 2020 and they were dispatched immediately and I received them one day later, although I just chose standard delivery by royal mail. The shoes were so beautiful but I ordered my street shoe size (4.5) and I could barely get my foot in them. Due to just practicing ballet at home (pandemic nastiness) I was in no rush to return them and put them aside until January, but then I completely forgot about them, and it wasn't until April 2021 that I contacted Dance Direct by telephone, and the lovely lady with whom I spoke was kind enough to accept a return in exchange for a larger size, even though the returns window had long closed. I was so impressed and just as with my initial order, my shoes were sent out immediately and arrived one day later. What fantastic service. This time around (late December 2023) I ordered black Basilica vegan split sole shoes and honestly, they are probably the most beautiful shoes I have ever owned. I feel like a principal dancer every time I look at my feet whilst wearing them. I don't dance like one but, hey- you know how wearing lovely, comfortable clothes massively enhances one's enjoyment of every occasion they are called into service for? That's my experience with these shoes. I love them. Again, next day delivery and I also got a bargainous 50 per cent off. I'm going for shorts and legwarmers next, whereas usually I first turn to Amazon for practically everything, not this time. its Dance Direct for me, in all matters ballet wear.”

“So good! Will definitely be back to Dance Direct. The leotard came in time for my daughter's show and was of excellent quality. I had mistakenly ordered a random leotard from Amazon a few days before and it was awful quality, poor material and wrong sizing. Lesson learned! As I found Dance Durect after this and the sizing was true to size, material was much better and it was the exact style/ colour needed.”

“Speedy delivery and good quality dance shoes. Even though I didn’t select next day deliver, it only took 2 business days, I was so surprised. My first order didn’t fit me so I returned them with the free return portal. Refund was transferred back to my account speedily too. Very impressed by the service”

“I am absolutely thrilled with Dance Direct. The product I bought (a ballet costume for a 5 year old) exceeded expectaions and the new owner is very happy with it. The ordering process was very quick and easy. I half expected the package to take a while to reach me (because of the holidays and distance overseas), but it arrived very promptly. Absolutely reccommend it.”

The manufacturers all work to different sizing standards and we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit.
