The chair is good, not great, but definitely sturdier and way more robust than Acacia wood. I would purchase similar again but not from Dalby sadly as the delivery experience and Dalby’s customer service were both pretty poor. Despite having an issue there was no follow up made by Dalby.

I am a little disappointed with the Monte Carlo 8 seater. The table comes either untreated, or if it is then its not really working. We had the Monte Carlo covers, but after it rained once we took the covers off to reveal all the timber water marked. The covers obviously aren't water proof and the table not protected. To make things worse, oil or treatment has run off and stained my brand new patio. Also the table in the unextended set up doesn't have a parasol hole which means you either have to have it full size all the time, or not have a parasol. The base also doesn't have a clamp incase the parasol ever goes into uplift which could be as easy as a butterfly screw. This isn't what I expect for £1100 piece of furniture and covers.

This furniture is not first quality. It must be acknowledged that this furniture is cheap for teak garden furniture. Good quality teak garden outside furniture should last between 10-15 years . I bought a set 5 years ago and had to make some repairs on arrival. I am fairly handy and have a workshop at home. Last year I started re-glueing the joints in the chairs. I have re-glued 2 chairs so far and have one more to do. A couple of weeks ago a chair collapsed out of the blue and on inspection the leg was completely rotten with White Rot, a fungal disease similar to dry rot; a surprise as chairs stored under covers all winter. I carved a new leg in the workshop only to discover afterwards that the rot had in fact spread through the joints into the body of the chair. It is un - repairable. I think a fair judgment here is that the furniture is cheap but it is not top quality and probably should be regarded as likely to need replacement after 5 or 6 years. You must make a judgement as to whether this is what you want.

Bought a planter in the 50% offer. Wouldn't have paid the full price As ir was way too much for a small planter albeit Teak. Received item which was flat packed and hadn't been machined properly on the mortice and tenon joints. Phoned to explain the issue. Had to send photos in to prove which i could have done without. Assembly instructions did not match the labelled parts which is always annoying with anything but way too common these days.

Good quality furniture but definitely with imperfections (scratches and a crack) but for the price I will accept. The table is 2m long instead of 2.2m which just fits 8 people but quite squishy and I specially ordered it for it’s 2.2m size, to be less so. So, there is definitely a mistake on their website about the dimensions and when I phoned to inquire, they were not accepting it, but argued that no one has ever complained about that and they will need to check it themselves, clearly suggesting that I was making it up and at the same offering me a refund!?Not sure I’d call that a good customer service...

Initially we were happy with the furniture set. However, as the table has weathered; we see that an area of the table top has been filled with wood filler. In addition, there us a loose seat spindle on one of the chairs. I emailed Humber over a week ago, requesting replacement but have yet to receive a response. Photo attached.

Paid for the furniture and not only has it not arrived over a week later but neither have we had any information as to when it will arrive, just an e-mail saying "...awaiting processing and will be delivered shortly" .

No information was provided about despatch to allow us to prepare for delivery. The courier apparently tried to deliver but didn't leave any note to say they'd called or when they would re-deliver. Delivery was then made without checking on our availability and the bench was left unattended. The bench while very attractive to look at is not very sturdy. While the assembly was straightforward the metal bolts were of poor quality with one of the threads being damaged. The slats on the seat are thin and flex excessively when sat on. The back of the bench also flexes and for it to be durable needs some reinforcement.

I didn't get a call or email telling me when delivery would take place. As my partner and I are out at work all day it meant that our retired (kind) neighbour accepted the delivery on our behalf. This meant that we weren't able to check the stove for any defects, luckily the item was ok but if it hadn't had been that could have posed a problem. Apart from that the ordering and payment was very easy and delivery prompt.

Table and chairs OK, but bench is awful. After just 4 weeks it is split and l have had to put on metal plates and screws to hold it together
